Of course, the don't care about boring topics. B/c most people are pretty simple minded. Their brain responds to mostly negative shit. And sex has been selling well for ages. Why don't you just repackage it ... by befriending a cute, local girl, taking her with you to ... whatever you want to show. People growing things, saving animals, teaching, etc. That way, even the most boring stuff becomes interesting. And most of the simpler minds won't even notice that you ... kinda tricked them. It's all about clever marketing.

Tony, you’re a great guy! I really value your perspective and appreciate that you're not just chasing clicks with sensationalism but keep your authenticity. Your life is interesting, you're passionate and have a lot to say and teach. I'd definitely watch more chat-style videos about your life, travels, interests (like this one!). Doesn't need to be high production, just you being you. Keep it up!

Hey Tony, You've created a life where you don't need to make a ton of money to be happy, and this means you can follow your passion. That's awesome, you're truly free from the rat race! With that said, if you want to make more money with travel blogging, why not use your dating skills and take a local hottie with you on your adventures. Stick her on the thumbnail and boom instant money. Perhaps you'll even generate dating coaching leads from people wondering how these babes keep appearing in your videos? There was a guy called David Bond who combined the travel/dating like this really well. He deleted most of his videos recently though.

You have a good sense of humor and can approach anyone. Only Bald has that. If you say you're good at dating and coaching, then you should make videos about that.Video Ideas: How to approach a woman How to get a date You could also mix in spiritual questions when talking to beautiful women, like: What is happiness for you? What do you think is the meaning of life? What is spirituality for you? What would a man need to date you? What do you look for in a partner? This way, you'll grow quickly on KZbin, and even if no one watches, talking to beautiful women is never a waste of time.

Yes, we missed you ;) Always good to see Tony! I understand you take a break, but I hope you find the motivation again in the future. Travel videos are both an escape and inspiration for me. I always liked yours, because they are real. But yeah, for the reasons mentioned they don't always get the views they deserve. Thank you!! 👍

Good points, it is what it is. Overlanding in South-East Asia's not too touristy spots might be a niche angle you don't see so many people doing. As a working digital nomad, this however might not be an easy route unless your altcoin wallet hits the sky. Thanks for the content anyways!

Glad to see an update from you and to hear that you're doing well. KZbin used to be a great place to learn, but it has become dominated by click bait channels appealing to the lowest common denominator. It's sad to see. I would like to think it will get better, but that's wishful thinking. My guess is it gets worse from here. That model makes money for the creators, and more importantly, Google, so why would they change it?
@robcanad
@robcanad 6 күн бұрын
KZbin still is a great place to learn. No one is forcing you to watch click bait content. I use KZbin extensively to learn about many things such as renovation, repairs, health, exercise, travel, etc. It's up to the viewer to select the right channels to watch, and trust me there are many excellent ones out there.
@user-zk6fc3dw9e
@user-zk6fc3dw9e 6 күн бұрын
@@robcanad True, there are still many good channels, but the algorithm rewards click bait content and titles. I'll be specific so you understand my point. There are a few genres I can think of that are rife with misinformation, including investing channels and prepping channels. Regarding investment channels, the ones that encourage ultra risky options rather than tried and true approaches get rewarded. These channels are actively pushing some of the most aggressive investing methods and are likely to cause devastating losses for most people who employ them. Doom channels are another thorn in my side. Crash bros in the real estate market have severely misled their viewers over the past 4-5 years. Similar to what Tony described, content creators that have a more even-mannered approach get no views. Channels that foretell the worst doom possible get the most traffic even though they are wrong year after year. There are licenses and regulations in investing and real estate markets, so why does KZbin not enforce some base-level of moderation? They certainly do for the health industry/topics. The same is true for prepping channels. There is one guy whose channel has predicted the end of the world every month for the past four years. It's ridiculous. I don't watch that garbage but it occasionally pops in my feed and I'm shocked KZbin hasn't pulled that nonsense. How KZbin doesn't regulate that type of content is mind boggling. Why do I care? Because the people who watch these channels vote, and they are being spoon-fed garbage. Many (most?) people don't respect these topics. They often assume big channels with high view counts and subscribers have the best information. They don't, because of the KZbin algorithm, and that's the problem.
@user-zk6fc3dw9e
@user-zk6fc3dw9e 6 күн бұрын
@@robcanad I left a longer comment that KZbin unfortunately removed. There are good content creators leaving KZbin because they don't want to play the algorithm (click bait) game. That leaves channels who do play the game as the dominant force in some genres. A few I can quickly think of are investing, real estate, and fitness channels. Some of the biggest channels in those genres are full of misinformation and click bait. Many people assume because the channels have a lot of subscribers and views that they must be accurate/good channels. Many times that's not the case. That issue is caused by the algorithm rewarding those types of channels, as Tony described in his video.
@robcanad
@robcanad 6 күн бұрын
@@user-zk6fc3dw9e I'm sure that's the case but not everyone creates content for their livelihood, for many it's a hobby. The ones who do it for money, to get rich or pay their bills will always have a conflict of interest. The ones who are leaving do so because they are not making enough money. So the take away is to find the channels that exist because the creator simply enjoys providing valuable info for others.

Many of these cops are straight up predators. When I was stationed in San Diego in the early eighties, I was alone walking down the street just South of the border will a beer can in my hand. Not the smartest thing to do I might add. But hey, I was in my bulletproof early twenties. Two cops made a real big deal about it and tried to shake me down for about $20. 20 bucks was a lot of money for a young poor serviceman back then. I didn't have $20 so this thief with a badge and beat up revolver told me he was going to take me down to the station. It was a startling threat; however, in hindsight I'm glad him and his fellow thug did take me down to the station. When I arrived at the station, I paid a $7 fine (fortunately I had readily available) at the front counter, and they cut me loose. That was the end of that. Definitely could have turned out much worse.
