I have lived with this since I was 16 , I’m now 56 still going through it with peri menopause, I’m sorry but doctors are not educated on pmdd , it can last up to 3 weeks not 1 week, it’s crippling/debilitating ,but when going through peri menopause it’s got me bed bound with hormones fluctuations from both pmdd and perimenopause , doctors are useless in fact if you’re not going through it, you can’t begin to imagine what it’s like , all my fellow sufferers I sympathise with you all ❤

recap by Viet York from ♥𝑀๏𝓁𝓁𝓎 .çㄖϻ♥ 00:00 🌪 PTSD is a common condition following traumatic events and can lead to long-term harm without treatment. 00:29 🤝 The RAPID study explored guided self-help as an alternative to traditional face-to-face PTSD therapy. 00:43 🏠 Guided self-help for PTSD offers flexibility and faster access, potentially reducing waiting times for treatment. 00:57 📊 The RAPID study was a randomized controlled trial aiming to assess the effectiveness of trauma-focused guided self-help. 01:26 💻 The study used a web and app-based program, 'Spring', requiring minimal therapist contact. 01:42 ⚖ Participants received either trauma-focused guided self-help or traditional face-to-face therapy. 01:55 📉 Both treatment methods showed a 60% reduction in PTSD symptoms after 16 weeks, with no significant difference in effectiveness. 02:09 🌟 Guided self-help was found to be as effective as face-to-face therapy for mild to moderate PTSD, also improving depression, anxiety, and quality of life. 02:24 🚀 Efforts are underway to make guided self-help more widely available for PTSD treatment.

I very much appreciate all the assiduous work towards uncovering this pattern of behavior/chemicals etc. been searching for eons about how to deign to function as an “adult” with much frustration on my own understanding of science and paucity of double blind, scientific studies for women and their cycles. You all are god sends!! ❤

Funding for emdr has to be expanded too if you acknowledge the rates of c-ptsd clients within the general ptsd cohort.

I hope and pray you see this and can help me, I was diagnosed with adhd at 49, but my whole life I've never been able to hate or hold a grudge, even against very very bad people, until I was 9 I thought, I don't like this person or that person or I hate you were made up words, but I would observe the behaviour that followed and get so confused and frustrated, I found myself at 9 years old telling kids off for fighting and being nasty to each other horrific, at 9, at 51 that has just become stronger, could this be as a result of adhd because my Dr and psychologist can not answer this question and I feel so overwhelmed and so alone that I refuse to get to know people because I know what's going to happen, I love strangers because I don't have to see it. And I'm still extremely vocal about it. To me it's so easy see into people, understand their behaviour is for a reason and remain yourself, now though I start to get physically ill with listening to people complain, and I'm very straight about it, a lot of people since I was little would come to me for advice, by the time I was 11 and 12 even adults, that I knew or didn't know would pour their hearts out to me, and if they wanted to better themselves my heart would be filled even if I didn't say a word, their positive words were enough to fill my soul ♥ what is wrong with me, I wanted to find words to help him, not protect him, when I found out he was in prison I was extremely happy for the children he could no longer hurt, and I was happy for him, because I refused to believe at 11 that this is how he wanted to be born. The adults around me were very angry that I said this, I'm so alone Mark 😔 🙂🕊✌.

Hi Megs, thank you for commenting. What you described sounds complex and possibly confusing, but it also sounds like you have a lot of empathy for people, which is a good trait, would you agree? So you're aware, the NCMH comms team looks after this KZbin channel, so note that we're not clinically trained, but know that your message hasn't been ignored and you can chat to us here if it helps you.

Hi. I loved the work so much! I've been trying to find for video like yours that educates everything in this KZbin video!Your video is similar to the vids of Dr. Ethan. Doctor Ethan's tips are insightful and he actually helped me on my practice! You should watch his YT out and give Dr Ethan a subscribe! ➡️ #StudentDoctorEthan

Thank you for for the catchup. I attended the psychoeducation course around 2014 in the Bridgend area. I missed the first two sessions as I am currently coming out of a hypomanic/mixed episode. I am glad the previous sessions are available at the right time. Thanks guys. I feel more reassured .see you on session 3.
