God created mankind probably millions of years ago. So the hymen would not have meant to be a proof of virginity. Women can lose their virginity but the hymen remains intact. So why a woman had a hymen.. there must be a function for every body part. The hymen function is to protect the womb and ovaries from infection by stopping germs and parasites or insects entering the vagina. If we immagin life thousands of years ago when people lived in jungles with nothing to wear how likely that harmful organisms can invade the genital system and potentially lead to sterility. This would lead to disappearance of mankind on earth. That would negate the purpose of creating mankind in the first place. So the conclusion is the hymen has nothing to do with virginity.
