Come on man!! Per square foot Lamb skin is the cheapest things material to make a leather jacket. Cow, Buffalo and Horsehide are the best quality and most expensive per square foot. You didn't do your homework ??

I bought the “Full sized one” I’m six feet tall and fairly muscular so I got a size bigger I know it might be over sized now but I can always throw a belt over it to cinch the waist, according to my measurements a size bigger than my normal size is actually perfect so I hope it fits well but if not I have ways to make it work if it’s to big

My Thursdays came in trashed. The left pair came in heavily creased where the foot bends. Got a second replacement pair. No creases. This time the left shoe, again, came with an unglued cup sole. I guess their quality checks have fell off.

Beckett Simonon is kind of scam considering you have to wait 3 months for shipping. They don't warn you about how long it takes. They delete all negative reviews on their instagram. They're NOT made to order. That's definitely false advertising.

I bought one off Depop, it was too small so I bought new from The Iconic which is a popular online retailer here in Australia. The size was right but there was a real difference in the quality of the fabric between the new and used garment. The labels both say 100% cotton and made in India (Bangladesh) but it does seem like Levi’s have reduced the quality of the fabric. The new one is noticeably lighter weight denim, it looks and feels cheaper than the second hand one from Depop which feels sturdier and much longer lasting. It seems every where you turn now clothes are falling further and further in quality. I didn’t expect this from Levi’s it’s really disappointing

Just picked up that same pair of Thursdays. Very impressive. Big price difference for an extra shoe bag and laces. Not worth it.

Less options doesn't make a product "simple". What makes a product simple is skimping out on materials and using less materials. Firm insoles are cheaper than soft insoles and the limited amout of cusion around the ankle areas means the quality is lower due to cost constraints of the manufacturer. The leather being from Columbia also means the leather is below average and very low quality compared to Italy. On top of all that, Beckett Simonon takes 2-3 months to get your sneakers where as Thursdays will get to you within 4 days.

Get the cognac, choose navy suit. And burgundy time

I have both. The Thursday sneakers have a thinner insole that has a softer density. The BS insoles are thicker and firmer but will be more durable. I may do a video comparing mine. I have the new Thursday Encore sneaker model. Not sure if if it has the dimensions as their Premier and Legacy sneaker. I should compare the Thursday Encore with BS Reid.

Absolutely love the Thursday premiere sneakers. Leather is super plush, design is on point, high quality and fits true to size. It checks so many boxes for a minimalist sneaker at a such reasonable price it has got to be in the stable. Love the cushioning as I absolutely hate to feel every little bump or protrusion on the road and traction pattern so far works pretty well. Just about the only weakness would be the metal eyelets. To me, a simple hole punch is a more elegant solution whereas the metal eyelet may offer more durability but ar the cost of weird discoloration on the leather around them. Thursday does now offer the Encore with lace holes but Im not too crazy about the heel tab. Overall, a must try for anyone who's considering a pair of versatile, stylish and quality minimalist sneakers.

I have a pair of Beckett Simonon which I love except for the fact that they are very squeaky. Just ordered a pair of Thursdays and was shocked that they were too narrow through the toe box considering they look wider than the BS. I’ve never bought wide shoes in my life but I might have to if I want a proper fit with the Thursdays

I have both brands the Thursdays all day long. Believe it, super comfortable, great materials… Thursdays are the best for the money… I wear the Legacy with the gum sole and they’re great unbelievably comfortable. just remember order a half size up…

I have both of these shoes Simonon’s are nice, but I’m taking Thursdays and I’ve got Oliver Cabell‘s and all the rest….I’ve tried them all as matter fact… I’ve given some away like Greats….. There’s no better sneaker as far as I’m concerned Thursday’s ….! I got the legacy’s, and I cannot believe when I first started wearing them how comfortable they were, how well constructed they were….. The laces which were waxed are excellent…I have no complaints……Thursday’s are the most comfortable, and worth every penny, made with quality materials and they look great…! Just order a half size up…!

I think Beckett Simonon uses Italian Leather but they are assembled in Bogota Colombia by expert craftsmen, you have to wait up to three months for them to custom assembled and shipped to you.

I must have gotten a bad pair. Lace eyelet ripped the first time I tried to tie them. If leather tears from just normal pressure the first time you try to tie it, something is seriously wrong with the design or materials. The whole eyelet area just feels flimsy compared to other shoes.
