@devikar9305 if it is not pleated it must be having panels or kalis. You will have to remove one or two panels so that it is close to waist measurement. Then add the nada or waist tie. Sometimes clients ask for a fitted waist without nada. This may not be useful for them in future if the waist grows. But to make fitted waist you have to cut and remove as many panels as are needed to reach the waist size and add hooks to close the waist.

I love crafting and started my day looking at macrame books which led me to tutorials for making Chevron friendship bracelets and finally I landed on tatting. LOL! I've never done this before but I have tons of crochet thread and you're tutorial has inspired me because you used a regular sewing needle. I think I may give it a try later today before ordering proper tatting needles. Thank you so much for the inspiration and instructions. 🙏♥️😊

Your necklace is so beautiful. I thought tatting had died. My grandmother used to tat, but I wasn't able to learn enough from her. I pretty much forgot it all. I just remember the shuttles that she worked with. Could you do some step by step tutorials on this wonderful craft? It would be a shame for this craft to be lost in time. TYSM
