What annoys me after watching shows like Hunter X Hunter and World Trigger, I can no longer enjoy other animes because of dumb most of them are in comparison. I have to wash my palette down with some really trashy shows in order to start appreciating animes again.

Actually peak story too bad that the manga is only like 40 ish chapters ahead of the last season from the anime. And it’s not like it’s big battles or anything they’re just talking 😭 like atp it should just be made into a light novel

You know, I'm glad that there are people who manage to enjoy it, (Fun fact:Dawn Of The New World is relatively popular in Japan) but if there is something that bothers me about the fans of the first game, it is that they often They are labeling the sequel as the worst of the worst, a game that should never have been a sequel and I understand that it was somewhat disappointing and not that good and most of their criticisms are understandable and in some I totally agree, but I think that people I'm exaggerating too much by throwing hate at the game, but let's be honest. ¿Did it seem inferior to its predecessor in terms of history?: Of course. ¿DID IT SEEM TO ME TO BE THE BIGGEST UNPLAYABLE ABERRATION EVER CREATED?: No, it did seem like an inferior game to the first and that it should not have been its sequel, but it also didn't seem like that unplayable garbage that they claimed so much about, in fact it doesn't even come close to being the same the worst jrpg in the history, in fact, it managed to entertain me quite a bit at times. Another thing that bothers me about the fans of the first symphonia is that they are ranting and belittling Emil left and right without taking into account all the trauma he went through, his uncles and everyone in Luin despised him from the moment he arrived, but the straw that broke the camel's back is that they say that because a protagonist is traumatized, is fearful, has anxiety that is a product of the abuse he suffered, is not brave or strong, he is automatically a "terrible protagonist", which already seems absurd and exaggerated to me, Emil, he does have a reason but the fans decided to ignore it in favor of calling him a "faggot" when the way Emil behaves is realistic for the circunstances of his situation of life, it is allowed that not everyone likes the game but I think they exaggerated with the Hate, personally, I consider Emil a good protagonist despite not being on the same level as Lloyd because he makes a good contrast with him and does not limit himself to be a lloyd 2.0. Finally, this comment has NO intention of wanting to offend the fans of the first Symphony, I simply wanted to express my opinion why I think they are exaggerating by throwing Hate at the sequel and not learning to value it for what it is and not for what it is. which necessarily must be.

One of the interesting things about this series is that I think it’s the first anime shonen that shows grit and determination isn’t the only thing that’s gonna cut it. So now instead of you thinking “what overpowered ability is he gonna get next?”, you ask “so what is he gonna do to manage?”. For me personally, it’s also the first series that made me go “What makes a protagonist?” because I got so used to the idea of an OP protagonist that this series made me question so many things. Iirc a big battle against neighbors didn’t start until ep20-ish; and that means the first 20 episodes really hammered down to me how if I expect to see an OP protagonist, I’d be disappointed so now I’m left with “Will you stay despite?” and thankfully the world and characters are so engaging that I had no problems saying yes.

I’ve been watching a few WT video’s and yeah. I agree. WT’s main charm to me is the character’s, every B to A-rank practically knows everyone else in the B to A-rank. It doesn’t feel like a company. It feels like a family. Even when people get smoked in the rank wars no one holds a real grudge. Tamakoma-2 was frustrated at themselves not angry at the other squads.

Some of my favorite things in world trigger are: how human every character feels. Takuma Yuba (he's just so cool) I love his fighting style of: I'm approaching your location rapidly and there's basically nothing you can do about it. All the jabs at stereotypical stuff from other animes, for example the will power situation, just because someone is determined doesn't mean they will win. And so much more. This show is great and I regret not having knowed about it earlier

I love world trigger. Rewatching it now has been a good time.

Manga Spoilers Below: The Ikoma Squad jab is even funnier now because the manga has shown that the redhead on his team is legitimately one of, if not the best strategists in all of Border and the other three just consistently bring him down to their level.

I did not like the main characters initially. I did appreciate the character growth and the way the last battle was done. I don't think I have yet to have a battle in the same way.

You've put it exctly the same way as how I've sold the anime to my friends, the best part of iot being like watching a LoL tournament. This is the best anime at making team fight, bar non, I accept no arguments. I have over 1000 compleateds on MAL and I have not seen a single anime that does team fight strategy half as good as world trigger.

I’d say it’s power system is on par with HXH

I've been following World Trigger since the manga translation was around chapter 51 (during the invasion arc) and it quickly became my standard of what action manga and anime should be like (though unfortunately it has yet to influence other series) and I always recommend the series to anyone I think might like it. I'm really liking the current arc of the manga as well, though it's generally unpopular.

Personally i love the rank battles, obviously the main story and trion soldier battles are cool but i really like the rank battles

The only problem that I have with Dawn of the new world is the Centurions being the "true" elemental gaurdians, not the Summon spirits. The reason that doesn't make sense is that the Summon Spirits were the one holding the two world's together for thousands of years. They retcon this when Tenebrae says they were just some monsters that just showed up. If they just left the Summon Spirits and just added Ratatosk. Or if they wanted to add the Centurions, they could of left them to only control monsters only, not controlling the mana as well instead of the Summon Spirits. I still enjoy the character moments, and I enjoy the character of Tenebrae, but the space he takes up in the overall plot just shoves the first games plot points aside and makes them pointless.

Dawn of the new world was my first tales game, and I loved it, lloyd actually being my favorite character. Going back to the first game and him just being Robin was infuriating 😂
