My favourite advice I was ever given in life is don’t stop telling people where it is you want to be in your career, or your life in general, because it just takes one person to hear that and offer you an opportunity that helps you get there!! So nice to hear all these updates. I think one thing you felt Lily is maybe role conflict! As a trainer, you know you should educate your clients so they can eventually workout on their own, but instead, you felt like your clients depended on you too much (i.e., they will only workout (ever) if they have an appt).

Completely agree with you that seeing the way my clothes fit me in like an indicator with how I’m doing physically! Like I don’t even own a scale, I just know I should do some physical activity when (A) my clothes aren’t fitting how I want them too and (B) when doing normal things like walking up stairs and carrying the laundry hamper is a struggle LOL

Well you take a second to be upset about it, because that's annoying... and then you think about what you have control over and work with that. There's always another way around an uncontrollable situation, you just have to work a little more. Plus, who knows, the fact that you took control over the situation can make it so you have an even stronger plan then you had before!

I definitely get that! Something that can help you out is planning your relapse! So if you have been going at this goal for a while now, write down every obstacles/barriers that you think you might come across, and try to plan ahead of time how you will break through these barriers. For example, if your goal is to meditate every morning, and your barrier is "you forget about it" then the moment you write down that obstacle you set a reminder for it, OR you attach it to a habit you currently have - before you drink your coffee, you take 3min of your time to meditate.

Yessssss, super relatable! I find the worst part about getting in a rut is that there is no clear way out. Like sometimes telling yourself pretty things works and other times you just have to push through and trust that you’ll come out on the brighter side. I completely relate to that feeling of knowing what your next step has to be but it just feels excruciatingly painful to get yourself to do it. It just be like that sometimes ahahhahaha
