My ultagroove cover has seperated from the pull rail, the rail that the pull rope is attached. It appears to have become delamenated from the canvas top. It appears to be held by contact cement between the rail and the canvas. Can I repair it by relaminating with contact cement. Otherwise looks like i will have to use bolts to secure the canvas to the rail. T IA

So you just leave the front shield with a clip at the front, 3 screws at the top, but hanging freely toward the backside? Yeah that’s going to make some noise while driving.

just think if you could really get it in a few day... In 11 years it takes 4 Weeks to get one..

Just did this on my 2015 Tacoma trd sport, works like advertised. The metal arm and bracket that the solenoid pushes squeaks a bit, probably would’ve been ideal for them to be made out of brass rather than stainless.. figuring that it’ll wear down a bit over time and hopefully make the squeak stop. If not I’ll pop the tailgate open again some day and maybe put some Teflon in the spots it’s squeaking , idk 🤷‍♂️

I bought one of these for my 2015 F-150. Looked great! Worked well. Waterproof, too. 3-4 years later, the paint began to flake off. Now (8 years later) it looks terrible! I don’t see any bare metal yet, but it’s probably not gonna be much longer. Still waterproof. Still working great.

Am I the only one who thinks these are a waste of space? I guess you would have to have a specific truck for that. Otherwise I feel like it takes up a lot of use from the bed

I was able to take off and on without un bolting the bed. It was tricky though like the transmission pan. This video shows that it can be done. I have to do it again though let's see if I can do it a second time. 2015 silverado.

if anyone is watching this to figure out what size bolt you need so you can tap into the factory tonneau cover holes, it's M6x25. It is not an M8 bolt.

Now do a video where you can easily rip it with your bare hands and no tools.

My Lo Pro should be here tomorrow 9/5/23 to install on my 2011 Ford Ranger. I’ve been asking my wife for a tonneau cover for our Ranger since we bought it in 19, as the bed fills up with snow every winter. I have to put 260# of sand bags over the rear axle for added traction during our very cold snowy winter months. We live in a very mountainous area of north central WA state and get 5-7 feet of snow every winter. Our pickup is a 4WD. We’re 5 miles from town and 25 miles from the city. Two years ago we had a big snow storm move into our area. The city had no snow prior to the storm but we had 2 feet on the ground. When that storm hit, we got 3 additional feet in 10 hours, whereas the city had only 1-2 feet. Next year we’ll be building an additional garage for the pickup. It will be installed and heated to 40 degrees F. Our over sized attached 2 car garage is also well insulated and it never gets below 40 degrees F. Believe me when our daytime temperatures are around 25 degrees F, 40 degrees F is nice to get into.
