When this song was not very old, a strutting fellow came to London, claiming to be the Christ. A huge crowd surrounded him in Trafalgar Square to hear him speak. In the middle of his talk a rag tag Salvation Army band began to march around the perimeter of the crowd, singing this very song. Hearing the words, " I shall know Him by the print of the nails in His hand." a man cried out loudly, Yes, His hands, let's see his hands! Show us your hands! And the man slunk off in shame and defeat. They were not the nail pierced hands of the risen Lord Jesus Christ.

Man...his song stopped me from taking my own life. No lie. Its another one of those days again for me. So I had to listen to it to get my mind right. It hurts to know he died so young and brutally but once you've completed God's will, you must return home. Job well done!

I knew the song, I Won’t Complain from hearing it in church over the years but never knew this man’s story until I saw it on Facebook. He only lived a short while and died so tragically, yet touched so many lives with his voice and song. May he continue to Rest In Peace.
