Absolutely breathtaking and beautiful. How do you get them to not eat the plants. Mine decimate the plants in hours, leaving nothing but bare stalks.

Thanks so much 🙂 I have have hard time as well with real plants . This was the only time I had them before they were completely destroyed by my fish. I think plants with bigger leaves have a better chance with goldfish .

It’s slightly overstocked it would be god for 2or3 of those fish

Omg i can never watch a fish video without people like you saying “Oh my God the tank is overstocked” like chill, he clearly has good filtration and the fish seem happy, there’s no need for a fricken 5000000000 gallon tank for 1 goldfish...

It all comes down to water quality and filteration. I have emperor 400 hob filter rated for 80 gallon and pennplax canister rated 200 gallon on this tank which is sufficient filteration for this tank and I do weekly water changes and haven’t had much issues.

It has much more to do with water quality than tank size. Low extremes in take size are bad regardless of water quality, but in general, for fancy goldfish, 20 gallons for the first goldfish, then 10 gallons for each fish after that.
