I'd definitely say you don't need to have sex to educate about it. I've got a biology degree and I became a science teacher. I taught a tonne of stuff as a teacher that I had no experience of. Also, I was a "virgin" until I was 25. Same reasons as you and similar-ish reasons too in terms of long term illness (I have hidradenitis suppurativa, so hardly something that'll make you feel sexy). Honestly sooo many people lie about sex and virginity. It's super common to remain a "virgin" into your early to mid twenties, especially these days. Also, as you say, virginity is a bullshit patriarchal myth. So there's that too. Anyway thanks for the video.

In theory you don’t necessarily have to, straight/opposite gendered educators often talk about gay sex without having experienced it. You could totally get information from interviewing people or create a playform which uplifts other, more experienced voices if that makes sense?
