We're going to catch it at Elkhart Indiana November 26th between midnight and 4:00 a.m. Midwestern rail fan 3257 and I will be there Elkhart it's only an hour drive so that's where we're going. Keep up the good videos

Guys. Does the CN tracks in Battle Creek Michigan goes to Detroit Michigan and Lansing Michigan?

@ CN does go through Lansing but not Detroit. The Holly sub goes to Detroit though same with Mount Clemens and Shore Line subs. (Holly and Mount Clemens Subs meet in Detroit forming the Shore Line sub going south)

It was some time in like 1985-87 I lived in a Rail town called Marshaltown in Iowa. I was just a kid and I came across Shoestring when I was 8 years old. I was always interesting in trains since a kid. Living in the rail town, I would go to sleep to the sounds of trains. Later down the line when I was fishing at lake Pipin with my grandparents a line ran through the fishing camp that was set up along the bank for campers and RV. Came across Shoestring again there when I was 12 years old. I invited him back for a fish fry. The man always had a story to tell, and we would always set him up with freshly caught food and fixings. Later as an adult of 36 years old I came across the old man again online. I had always had plans to catch back up with Shoestring as he never forgot that fish fry with my grandparents and family. Great memories of a different world when strangers where not so dangerous. The kind of stuff I did back then is unheard of today. Simply put it isn't smart to do that anymore. It is hard to trust people now a days.

@@mr.canadiannational7972 It is messed up. Cause what I looked into looks like a horrible accident. No drugs found in his system. No signs of stabs or someone trying to cover up a murder. There was a bump on his head however. They said he hit his head, fell into the lake and drown. I thought the ole man had people looking out for him!!!! Who ever job it was to care take for Shoe, failed. I work with elderly folks as a caretaker. It is a constant 24-7 job. Even off the clock you have to be aware and keep doors locked and have a ping on a phone to alert you to open doors, empty beds, ect.
