I can understand why robin did not tell patrick at first about being pregnant. Patrick did not want children at first and his constant adolescent behavior with the nurses was nauseating. I also did not like the fact that after patrick found out she was pregnant he kept following her around and was constantly stalking her.

I was a teen and young adults during the AIDS years, that is wonderful the process medical research has made, but sadly people will always be ignorant.

3:00 Speaking as a nonparent, pretty sure becoming a mother would be a bigger adjustment than becoming a grandmother. The writers at GH had some odd ideas about grandmotherhood IMO. They gave Alexis the same story. Most future grandmothers I've known have been thrilled about it - y'know, being able to love and spoil the kid and then return them to the parents. Here, a first time mother is reassuring a first time grandmother. Sure, that makes sense.
