Just to recap for anyone who needs to know. Open carrier, put cat in carrier, close carrier.

I like your methods. I need to leave the carrier out so the cat can get used to it. She hates going in it and yowls. I have to corner her in the bedroom and put her in it. She cries and I feel really when she does. I usually get her to the vet okay but she hates going and cries when she is in the carrier. She hides when I bring her home. She gets low to the ground and slinks away. I will try your methods though. Thank you.

I had to use the towel trick. My cat is slightly mental anyway and NO WAY would it go in. I even used my old leather Army gloves for extra protection and anyway the towel way DOES work even for cats psycho against going into a crate. Sure it is afraid of me and pissed won’t even eat it’s #1 food but it should come around and this had to be done.

Animals are totally dependent on their owners. So, please if you have to take them to the humane society 1st think about precisely what Jessica Miller has said. (On behalf of all the precious animals I wanna say “thank you for really making a conscious choice & please don’t take us home if you really can’t keep us safe & make us part of the family.) This is a message from your pet(s).
@Barbara-jq2se5 ай бұрын
I’ve just seen on the Global news that people who are trying to so-to-speak help their pets & take them to the humane society just to leave them on the property waiting for someone who works there isn’t kind, wise, or caring period because as Jessica Miller |CEO, Wpg Humane Society is/has said: Tell us what your instance is & if we can deem it’s an emergency we will bring the animals in; we also have a ton of rescue partners & other resources & so if we’re able to have a conversation with someone on the phone maybe there’s somewhere else we can suggest that they go to in the meantime. (Please don’t leave them outside tied to a tree or whatever..that’s just not the right way to go about this. The animals are scared & can’t speak your language to tell you what they’re feeling being dropped off or just left outside waiting. Be careful & really think about how scarey & scared you’d be if this happened to you.) text around the brackets are from a separate individual; not a part of Jessica’s message, I just

Agricultural use is one of the so-called "accepted activities" that are exempt from our animal protection laws as long as "codes of practice" are followed. This is like exempting employers from labor laws as long as they follow their own rules. But it has to be because this industry could not exist if it had to abide by the same standards of care required by those who have "companion" animals. And pigs' suffering hardly ends at the intensive feeding operations where they are born into a live not worth living. Canada has some of the worst animal transport laws in the developed world and pigs can be transported in all extremes of weather, from frigid cold to blistering heat, in metal trailers without food, water or rest for up to 28 hours. Those who survive the trip will have to endure being suffocated in a CO2 chamber at the slaughter house. The way we treat animals farmed for food is truly a stain on our humanity.

Yeah I live in a car and my dog can't find her leash I can't find her collar she knows where it is it reeks of sulfur. This video is an eight box of doggy crayons. The fat ones. How do I train Daisy duker the mushroom puker to find her collar? Rub it in tuna fish?

So is the d-ring on the chest once you are done? How about showing snapping on the leash and actually walking the dog do we can see how it works? It’s not clear to me how it will control the dog at all.

It might be optimistic to expect an answer on this, since this is so old, but here goes anyways: I clicker train my dog, but I'm guessing a click isn't a good idea for doing this, as the Clicker signals the incoming of another treat, right? The finding of the treat itself (an succeeding at it) should be enough for them to get it following this progression? (If the context helps at all, I have a 6 month old Blue Tick Hound mix puppy) Any help would be appreciated!

I am really scared. my cat has a big lump near his throat and I believe it is a bee sting or, hopefully not, cancer. I am scared because he is acting weird and scratches it. it's a clear sign that I need to take him to the vet. but I've never taken him to the vet before. I am afraid that it will be hard to put him in the carrier, and if I will manage to get him in he will freak out and hurt himself. I know that I have to take him to the vet but I don't know how. please, if you are reading this comment, tell me what I can do for my cat. I love him so much and I don't want to lose him.

You need to be brave, you can do it! I'm sure you're overthinking it, i felt the same way with my cat and it ended up being very easy. Just put on some long sleeves for your own peace of mind and be firm and quick! I noticed dropping her in was tricky because she was moving her back legs to block me from putting her in lol.. head first like the last method is best. No towel, though. If you are scared he will freak out in there spray some feliway. Good luck!
