The reason was because they were too generous, giving away ice and battle passes for free. Any premium skin could be grinded with time. It was an amazing and expensive game but they couldn't make enough money from it. We all complain about pay to win, gacha, and ad filled games these days, but that's the only successful games left these days, all the good companies died off. Even worse so for the mobile gaming industry. Let's just be grateful that we got to enjoy the golden era of mobile gaming, where games like world of goo, jelly defense and monument Valley existed.

Started playing Honor of Kings that is newly launched at global. But even when i am playing i remember Vainglory! Oh man, how much i miss this game! No other mobas even HoK comes close to the graphics that VG had.

I play MLBB, Wildrift, Honor of Kings, but if someone ask me, what best moba game? I absolutely said Vainglory, Best Character Design, Best Map Design, Best Music Game i ever Play, Simple Gameplay, no need Prep Item, emblem, arcana spell or what ever. And one thing no moba mobile maybe all Moba can make. 2 Mode Hero, a lot hero at Vainglory you can Play Magical or Physical, one hero with 2 Gameplay, and Sometimes Hybrid. No One Moba Mobile Game can Copy that. No one, no body.

No game can be compared to this game. It was such a masterpiece! Design, sound effects, characters especially graphics are top tier till this day. I hope someday it will come back...

How can a game with such god-tier like graphic, gameplay and player-friendly masterpiece like this died a such undeserved death like Vainglory? It had so much potential, even rivaling that of League of Legends in terms of mapmaking, balancing, etc.. Some ppl said it was mismanagement and little-to-no marketing strategies, in addition with the transfer of the game to that Chinese corporation that broke it, I still couldn't believe that. Been a Vainglorious in both 3v3 and 5v5 since 2018, such a wonderful time.....
