I'm dropping reviews everywhere people might see them as a buyer beware - I wish I could tell any of you how well the mower works - but we received it in August, unboxed and assembled, followed all pre-use instructions, and the drive belt shredded after only several hundred feet of use. Mower won't drive forward without it, so we had to tow it back to the house. Called and spoke with the company, they agreed that there must have been an issue with the belt, but we don't have a nearby DR dealer shop or a winch to load a very heavy machine that won't drive itself forward/up a ramp, so they recommend replacing the belt ourselves. The trouble is, this mower is not user-service friendly. So, after paying 3K$, here we are on the floor of our garage with a brand-new machine, inching our way through each overly complicated step to replace this drive belt, and consequently we don't have a single kind thing to say about this machine. Since we live in WA, we may not get to even try this thing out again until next May we the rains stop. I regret buying this machine.

ive got a mculloch edger with 15 deg tilt left or right i find on the masport one i have doesnt have that option ,but plenty of power from the 127 cc briggs engine depends how i feel on the day whether i use the mculloch or masport thats my take on this.

They just dont last and are a pig to fix when things do go wrong. I live in Ireland, Webb sold an "Ireland Only" model through Dairygold Coop. If I needed parts I had to phone a guy in Northern Ireland who then tried to get the replacement parts from England somewhere, they never fitted. It lasted me about 4 years in total then it was fit for the tip. The Briggs and Stratton engine was good. Everything else was too fragile and fiddly for Irish land. I bit the bullet and bought a Honda. My neighbour has had one for ten years and said they are bulletproof. So far I have to agree with him.

We’re cane I get a work shop diagram of the controller assemble as I had a fault inside now the inside layout I need to see how it goes back to gather as the casing will not close assemble one part is wrong Please help

Too bad I did NOT buy the electric start … Mines been hibernating in my garage and now it WON’T start 😒 I have taken it to a shop to remedy the issue last year but this season it’s NOT giving me a spark 😒

Thank you...also, the 9/16 bolt on the bottom is behind a rubber grommet. remove the grommet and loosen the bolt if the head does not turn by hand. The plates can be used above or below the unit to adjust cutting height......found in the on line manual.....

your part ID is wrong, it is part A, B, C, D, E not 13, 14, etc

So no explanation of the manual gear change on the second mower - which was the major difference with the first...

I am sure it works well. However, it doesn't look sturdy enough to me for long term commercial use.

it is too bad you are showing the people the wrong way to do this... if you put it in backwards ie poke the strings in the middle they will come out each side and then you will have 4 strings, each 90 degrees offset.. this gives you 4 hits at the weed, and pushes the debris out faster than they way you do with with only 2 sets of two..... try it.......

I can't find the spec for re setting the valve rocker clearance??

I’ve noticed that using my strimming head it won’t spin with the inner ring with the locking notch. So now it’s stuck as it works not without the inner right and even then it doesn’t always line up. So temperamental.

Interesting video, but I think you should tell all the Ztrak lookers what the alternative is vs the big box JD mowers. (I agree with your spin on big box JD equipment, not good quality). I bought my Ztrak 535E from a licensed JD Dealer in my home town 10 years ago and have NEVER had a problem with it. Has about 200 hours on it right now. Keep all the maintenance up every year as well as always clean it. So, to be fair, I think you should explain not all JD Ztrak mowers and riders are junk, which your video makes it look like. You didn't explain the higher number mowers are much better from what I've experienced and seen in real life. Thanks for the video.

Have the exact same issue as the other comment i have the 53asd and its great the 77 when it worked was great tons of power great collection but had it two months and its broken twice latest time its been in the shop for 3 weeks and they have no idea when parts will arrive in fact I dont know exactly what broke first time was sping and belt on drive this time they think its the gearbox thats gone but have not confirmed anything so at the moment its a £2300 garden ornament

They are very expensive to have shipped to the US.

I've just inherited one of these in good nick, but sans it's starter battery and charger. It's soon to be dumped at the scrapyard, as I can't find anyone who sells these missing items. Bloody useless to not have a pullstart too.

Shame about the music & not allowing us to hear the trimmer running. I'd like to see it do some work as well. Not very convincing for me to buy one.
