It's the nickname I picked up from a friend who keeps snakes, although hers only think they are dangerous. She has several ball pythons which like to act tough around strangers but quickly decide they prefer to snuggle up to your body heat 😅

As I've talked to others throughout my life, almost no one recognized the practice. Admittedly, it was fun to watch some of the missionaries panic because they encountered a verse they had never studied.

I don’t know anyone who considers kintsugi a metaphor the atonement. Most see it simply as a metaphor for the notion that someone who has been broken, that is to say, hurt, can emerge stronger and/or more beautiful if they change their perspective.
