I love ocala National forest. Biggest fish I ever caught (27’’ 9lb 11oz bass) was caught in this tiny ‘lake’ in ocala National forest. It’s called Doe Lake. I was out there teaching kids how to catch bluegill and just decided to put one on a circle hook and caught a monster. Love the scenery and great switch up from fishing in orlando city spots

I do everything barefooted 👣 from kayaking 🛶 , riding my bike 🚲 with my 6 boys i have , cutting my grass , going to the grocery store , Walmart , mall , fast food restaurant , walking 🚶‍♂️around in the neighborhood , all barefooted 👣 . I even have to drive my car 🚗 & my big Truck 🚛 getting in & out of a 53ft Tractor trailer . My toes are Evenly straight across & They touch both gas and brakes pedal at the same time because of how extremely wide my feet 🦶 & toes are . I have to look down at the pedal to see where to put my foot at so that I don't have a rear end collection . At night time i have to have a red light on so that I can see at night time Where to put my foot at . Just curious buddy do you own any flip flops 🩴or sandals ? My foot outgrow shoes , socks , & boots when I was young but that ok with me because I am 95% of the time barefooted 👣 . I even go to work barefooted 👣 but i have my flip flops 🩴with me. I like how you started the beginning man. Take it easy buddy & good video buddy.

KIds are great, you are brutal on the poor dude, help him out with some tips, like slowing down on his retrieve. Not a coincidence his only fish came when he wasn't paying attention and the bait was just sitting. Set him with a drop shot, that will help catch more fish in those body of waters. But I get it, you dont want him catching more than you, LOL

The signs specifically say no boat launching, and they have a picture of a boat on them. Motor, trailer and all. So, it's not really an issue of respect, since I am in a kayak I don't think they apply to me.

How deep is the lake?
@anarchyfishing476
@anarchyfishing476 Ай бұрын
I didn't explore the entire lake this day, but it seemed like deeper parts where I fished probably in the 10-15 foot range. More of a longer slender lake, so I imagine 20 feet would be the deepest spot depending on rainfall. Just a guess, but pretty standard for a smaller Florida lake.

I get that. JDM tackle carries a hefty price tag. That subtle side shimmy on the fall though is absolutely devastating, which is why I pay the money and use them as my go-to fluke. My main issue is getting a hold of them since everyone uses them as the premier hover stroll bait now. Thanks for watching.

Pretty crazy on how that bait came off, one thing I have done to help was order some very large screw locks and replace the stock ones, you can find much bigger ones that wont pull out. Citizens are great, just boated 2 over 6 lbs last week on one, must have some Mend-it for those as they are so soft, but you can make them like new again with it.

what is your thoughts on this Deps frog, how is it in heavy grass and even the pads. does it fill with water too much and the durability. I'm looking for a good popping frog for some heavy cover, I like the way the design on these makes it sit flat and it has a transfer weight system, /anyway dont see you throw it much, there might be a good reason
@anarchyfishing476
@anarchyfishing476 Ай бұрын
I don't throw frogs a ton which is why you haven't seen me use it since this video. Most of my frog fishing forays end with not enough action to warrant a KZbin video. This frog is great and does all the things you'd want it too. The only thing I would say is it's not so much better than a spro popping frog that I would be compelled to pay the extra money for it and fill my frog box with these instead.

my first ever time fishing Baldwin my first bite came on a magdraft didn’t land it but seemed like a nice fish. I ended up doing some exploring and got into lake Susannah across the street it was difficult but worth it to say the least just an fyi if you are ever looking to try a new spot
@anarchyfishing476
@anarchyfishing476 Ай бұрын
I've fished Susannah a bit over the years. I love all the grass and lily pads, my only gripe is that it seems to be overcrowded with bass. It has decent sized bass, I have caught a few out of there, but I mostly catch dinks when I go. I put out a video or two fishing there of me harvesting some smaller bass for dinner. Curious if you had similar experiences there? Holler back if you don't mind sharing, and appreciate you watching.

I was at underhill last week for the first time in a couple of years, like with you it was a major grind, ended up with 7 mostly dinks with one at 3 lbs. Was real disappointed in the water clarity as it always used to be gin clear in there, thats why I like fishing it. Apparently it has been sprayed. Most of my fish came from the South side in the deep water grass edge or on those rock points at the bridge. Up shallower there was quit a bit of grass but it had some kind of funk coating on it all, looked good other than that with some nice submerged vegetation with some holes, but didnt get a fish out it. I Like how you think out of the box with that mag Neko rig, that has been one of my all-time donkey killers, I rig it using the Z-Man Mag Fattyz but install a gold tail spinner, that added flash as it drops draws in the big girls.
@anarchyfishing476
@anarchyfishing476 2 ай бұрын
They sprayed it not too long ago, all the hydrilla that was matted along the shoreline is completely gone. Decaying vegetation and warm water = algae blooms and murky water. Still a bunch of eelgrass though and there is plenty of submerged hydrilla deeper they didn't spray. I get it to a certain extent though, that entire lake was a hydrilla mat a month or so ago. I just hate that they spray absolutely everything when they do it. I always thought some selective spraying could keep hydrilla in check without completely decimating all the grass and turning the water into pea green soup. I'll have to mess around with the spinner add to my neko rig. I like that it could slow the fall down as well as the flash maybe drawing more fish in. Much appreciated as always.
