Nice video, Marty, the furthest he was maybe 20 yards away? And he was doing some running and lots of sniffing. Pretty big dog!

From perfect vision? The title is misleading, but, I'm losing my sight and getting close to totally blind and wondering how others have coped. Thank you for making this video.

Firstly, thank you for commenting and I'm really sorry to hear about your site loss journey. Please do reach out because if I can assist or helping anyway, I would really like to. In terms of the title, it's hard to fit within a few characters, but I did have some vision, but it's trying to encapsulate everything in such a limited character count.

@@BlindGirlVlogs Hi, I have RP and macula dystrophy. I have been slowly losing my sight for years, but recently, it has deteriorated faster and is now getting to the stage I am worried it will completely disappear. I was told years ago that nothing can be done and they have no idea if it will totally disappear. It seems like it is doing. The worst part is I know what I am missing. I know I should think myself lucky for all the years of sight I have had compared to many like yourself. I'm starting to learn the piano in order to give myself something to do that I will never fully master and keep me occupied. Stevie Wonder watch out!

Bless your heart. I've just seen your comment. I know it's easy for me to say, but please don't feel a burden on anyone around you. Do reach out to someone you trust and let them know how you feel. I really empathise with where you are in your sight lost journey, but please don't struggle alone. I'm more than happy to catch up with you office platform if that would help? X

It looks lovely! I'm terrible at keeping plants alive too. We bought a frail supermarket parsley plant for 96p thinking it wouldn't last long but our rabbit would enjoy it whilst it lasted but over a year on it's still here and thriving!

Beautiful! There's also an online company called Bloom who do fake flowers and plants which are really realistic. Even down to it looking like there is water in the vase. My mum had several from them and you wouldn't have known they weren't real cut flowers

Hey, thanks so much for your comment. I'm not sure what you mean. I purchased a fake orchid plant earlier because I'm useless at actually keeping the real thing alive. Smiley face. I definitely wish I was better with plants and flowers because I love them. However, the fake ones will do for now. Ha ha. I hope you are keeping well.

@@BlindGirlVlogs Sorry auto correct got me. No, no... I am wondering, since you are unable to see how you did, would you select it or even a live flower? Is it all sensory or an assist from family? I ask because you described it so I wasn't sure.

I absolutely love the sensory feeling of real plants and flowers, the smell, just being amongst nature but I'm absolutely useless when it comes to taking care of them myself. However, I do like to have lovely things around the house but I can feel and appreciate. I would love to be a little more hands-on in the garden. Plus having a few plants around the house but I end up just killing them. Sadly. Hope you are all well. Xx

@@mamaK648 i'm definitely going to be looking around for a easy plant to start off with. I just like the idea of having something tactile in my house. I'm going to see what's available with minimal effort and something that won't simply die if I fail to water it or talk to it. Ha ha ha.
@mamaK6482 ай бұрын

It really is delicious. Now if you obviously wanted to make other combinations like double chocolate chip muffins you would simply just need to add chocolate chips and some chocolate cocoa powder to taste. With regards to the coffee and walnut muffins, just boil water and then put instant coffee granules mix it up and then measure it out according to the recipe and leave it to cool down before mixing it into the ingredients if that makes sense and then instead of the blueberries just add the walnuts, into it breaking them up. You can definitely mix and match, but the bulk of the recipe is the same. Xx
@mamaK6482 ай бұрын
@@BlindGirlVlogs I will have to try multiple combinations! Thanks for the ideas and tips. 🩷🌈

If anyone is looking for the carrot cake muffin recipe, please find it below: Here's a really simple carrot cake muffin recipe using metric measurements: Ingredients: - 250g carrots, peeled and grated - 250g self-raising flour - 175g soft light brown sugar - 1 tsp ground cinnamon - 1/2 tsp mixed spice - 2 large eggs, beaten - 75ml vegetable oil and 75ml water. Instructions: 1. Preheat the oven to 180°C/350°F. Line a muffin tin with paper cases. 2. In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, cinnamon, and mixed spice. 3. Add the beaten eggs, water and vegetable oil to the bowl and mix until just combined. 4. Stir in the grated carrots until evenly distributed throughout the batter. 5. Divide the mixture among the muffin cases, filling each one about three-quarters full. 6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean. 7. Allow the muffins to cool for a few minutes in the tin, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely. Enjoy your delicious carrot cake muffins!
