how do you get down from this boulder? looks scary high
@DevClimbs
@DevClimbs 3 ай бұрын
The other side of the boulder isn’t steep so you can climb down all the way or as far as you can and then jump. Most of the time there is an easier way to get down. Always check the down climb first!

Thanks. V4, the moves felt v3 but with the fall factor I could see why it’s a grade higher.

Super fun line just wish the hard part was a little longer. Not sure how you went right hand first, left hand made more sense for me

@DevClimbs fair assessment. Glad you enjoyed it overall though! Honestly I can't remember the specifics of my process figuring out the start. I need weird beta sometimes!

It's hard to say. I checked our Tram guidebook (2007) and it doesn't mention it. As a developer, easy way to tell if its FA is if you broke holds or had to clean up alot of the choss off. I noticed Tram boulders don't necessarily need alot of cleaning except of cleaning off grains of pebbles. Good luck on finding the answer. Good send!

It’s about a third of the way up. Your right hand is on the worst hold on the route and you have to get a high foot and hit a slot. Make sure you know how to topout and don’t forget to have fun 🫡

Is this opposite Tips be gone, in the same corridor? I assumed this one was #27 unnamed v5 in j tree bouldering 2nd ed., if this is the line i think it is. Could very well be wrong. I also remember thinking the topout looked brutal!
@DevClimbs
@DevClimbs 8 ай бұрын
Yes it’s right across! Two rocks stacked on top of each other. That makes sense, the holds were too obvious, and it felt around that grade. Lmao I totally see it in the book now, I was expecting it to be under its own boulder 😂
@jaredsartini
@jaredsartini 8 ай бұрын
@DevClimbs it was just my assumption - not sure it's right! I have completely overlooked information on already established problems many times. There's a lot to sort from!

@@jaredsartini no I’m pretty sure you’re right. Fits the description and the difficulty! Still a fun climb not sure why it had no stars, I’d give it at least 2. Thanks for the info.

why are you not calling it The Cube as its primary name? it has been The Cube since the 90s

When I posted this I just copied the name off Mtn proj. It’s funny I don’t think I’ve ever actually called this climb dancing queen, it’s always been the cube. I should fix the title
