it's all post production mixed and mastered.. the raw drums don't sound anything like this go listen to original drums only love it loud on here..

I love Pete and I love KISS... but he’s more of Swing Big Band than true Jazz drummer.. he was an avg Rock drummer and we all know this but what he did w the Boys in the early days was pretty cool.

I know Peter trys to be Rock and Roll because of the KISS thing and his fans want him to still be the KISS drummer but I think Peter is much happier playing Jazz and Swing. Peter is good at this, yes a bit off but still for his age he is doing pretty damn good.

I was in high school in 1980, and how embarrassing to be a fan of Kiss... little kiddies going to concerts and this is the follow up to dynasty? 1980 was an incredible year for rock, unfortunately Kiss was not a part of it

That explains why since KISS released Dynasty, the authentic rocker fans of the band felt disappointed and in 1979, the band started to have cancelled gigs, subsequently the band lost popularity in the USA, they still were popular in Europe and Oceania though, and this album, even Gene Simmons hated it so much, that he was so embarrassed to make it and wouldn't sing a single song of that album, not even to his mother

i was a sophomore and my local radio station...WCOZ FM boston played the whole thing both sides so i tapped it.... after the 3rd listening i thought.....wow Peter's finally using ALL his drums !..... only to learn many years later....it was anton figg killin it....peter never played on the album....of course they put his image on the cover to lie to the fans thinking if the fans knew he left... there goes more 💸🤑..... that's when they became more of a brand than a band 😒

I was one of those holdouts who stuck with the band back then, but I took a lot of shit for it, which is kind of weird thinking about it now, since I was 13 when this came out. I felt vindicated when Creatures came out, and they started drawing back some of the old fans. I still think The Elder was a great album, it just wasn't what KISS fans wanted in 1981.
