red-blue is a spatial direction not meant as time. I prefer to believe that it's a sign of respect toward any work of creativity to 'take it out of the package and play with it.' to engage with it. for me, I create things and share them as invitations to play.

I have never heard of any of those but to be honest, I was never a reader my whole life. Not stories anyway. Long articles in Popular Science magazines and several others was about it. I and my sister both have an issue with long reads. We just can not focus and stay with it to the end, no matter how interesting it may be. Distracted way to easily and having the mind wander to something else as I try to read and make sense of it. I also always had issues even in High School when english teacher had us read a short story then ask a lot of questions about it. What color was Bobs car and why did it matter or Susan went where right after prom ? For some reason, details did not stick well. Same with reading a novel or something. I was moved to a special reading teacher with several others and was doing fine there. One day the teacher had me on that line by line reader thing where a light went across and you read one line at a time and he could change the speed of it if you improved. When he turned it on, I started reading outloud and in 20 seconds I stopped and asked him to turn the thing up, I am falling asleep. I said, does anybody read that slow?? He ended up turning it up until almost wide open and I read it all just fine. I was sent back to normal english class. If I tried reading stories again now, I would need to take notes as I go to keep track of whos who and what part they played in the story. At 69 , it will not improve I think..

I know a few folks with ADHD who can't read long form or even watch movies for similar reasons. No worries if you don't read or watch the one I love, these are just identifying them for people as a prelude to doing more in depth video discussions on the individual works and ideas they give me. Without spoiling them for anyone who would like to experience them first.

Hmmm, there are 8 I have not seen although I have seen several " Movie Poster" or " Book Cover" art. Ones i never seen are Unicorn , The Princess Bride , Legend , Pan's Labyrinth , Lady Hawke , Dragon Slayer , Adventures of Baron Munchausen and Big Fish. May have to look some of these up .. 🙂
@inspiredcontent5918

princess bride is frankly one of the best movies ever made. I think big fish is a skilled work of story telling cinema. many of the others are much lighter fare, heavily in the style of 80s movie making, and more fun adventure than fantasy saga. i'd say if you start in on these, the order I'd go into them is Princess bride, big fish, baron munchausen, legend, pans labrynth, the last unicorn, dragon slayer, ladyhawk. that sort of makes sure you get the must see ones if you don't get all of them.

Perhaps, These are some of the movies that shaped who I am. Just a thought.. As for the movies I have not seen, and when it comes to sci-fi while growing up , I tried to watch all I could. Animations, not so much. What I have not seen or heard of is : NausicaA , Ghost in the shell , ExistenZ , Dark City , Gandahar and Titan A.E.

dark city has a great film noir style story, and dark deco look. it's really one of my top 3 movies. Nausicaa is a classic by a skilled director. the others you haven't seen are ones I like but I'm aware take a certain kind of audience (i'd be hard pressed to get anyone in my family to get into them. maybe Titan AE could work for them. they're not big sci-fi fans)

Fun fact - The Rowan started off as the short story titles... either "The Tower" or "The Lady and the Tower". I believe it and it's companion "Meeting of Minds" (which she also turned into a Tower novel) are in the collection "Get of the Unicorn". And my first exposure to "Flowers for Algernon" was in middle school when I was pulled in to fill in a spot in the high school play. And yeah, it's a kick in the teeth. C.J. Cherryh is fantastic at alien cultures - and sticking a hapless human into the middle of them. Chanur's Pride tosses an adult human as a "discovery" by the Chanur - cat people. Wonderfully done. Interestingly, I believe have read a larger portion of this list.

Sounds interesting. Although, I have a lot on my plate this month, whats left of it, and Feb but may try to do some of this. btw , you said you would like to see anything made by who ever. In what way would we get an image to you? Email ?? I am finally getting real close to having that garage I bought 3 or more years ago, here in town I moved to in Oct. of 2022. I intend to make it my lab for everything. Add power , insulation, plywood walls and as many shelves on wall as I can fit because I have a ton of accumulated items from years of tucking back for day I could have an organized place to experiment or even to do this stuff you spoke of. We are getting into a deep hole really with things aquired this last year. House , solar on roof and Donna finally has a decent car to drive. 2019 Chevy Blazer. Now, as long as nothing costly happens, we may be able to keep payments up on all this and other. But what could happen, right ??? Anyway, hope you are doing ok. Was odd to see you posted today when I was thinking I had not seen a video in awhile. See you in Febuary. 😶

Interesting process. I am not a reader really but would be interesting to read your finished product. I have never considered myself creative. I suppose the closest I came was back in the 90's while daily visiting a virtual world where people gathered to build cities and other things while visiting each other. I came up with a game that was simply called , " Picture Game " I used compound words mainly or peoples names to create each picture and present it on screen for all that gathered to guess what I was trying to convey. Example : Catogory may be country singers past and present -- I had an image of a outhouse with money laying all around it- Singer was - Johnny Cash or picture of to standing condoms, one playing a guitar and the other was playing the drums/ - The object I was looking for was "Rubber Band" I made at least 15 of these per week for months. People really liked playing it and it was interesting to create each one. Anyway , good luck with this and good to see you back online. Take care .. 🙂

Glad you are back in this mindset, even if not much else has improved for you in other areas yet. From your previous talk on Rovaing Jack, you mention your stuff being re-arranged I think you said. How is it, people have access to it and you not get robbed on occasion? Too bad you could not live in my area. Cost of living is super cheaper than you must be paying. There are bits of land here and there to rent or rent to buy and nobdy has access to your belongings. I know that you would be away from what the city has to offer in some ways but once you get a handle on your health, you would be able to go a short ways to things that can relate to your interest. If you stay, I am not knocking that. You have your reasons if you do so. I think you would florish a lot in a new eviroment in time. Aquire another pc and other tools. And if anyways near me here in Illinois, would be cool to visit at times. 🙂

Dang man, I really wish I could help out . We moved to a near by town in October and still paying on other place with utilities still on. Place needs tore down though. / Hate seeing you like this. You sound alone and defeated which I can understand . You most likely have higher rent than our houe payment of 550 per month. So, even if I could send 1 or 2 hundred, would not go very far. Better than nothing but I cant even do that. I hope you can hang in there and help comes to you when you least expect it or at least better health. Your nature and mindset is what kept me watching in the past. If I had something like a lotto win, I would buy you a place and send you to the best doctors. I am just on thin ice as it is on money. Was doing better back when I sent you the mic and camera. Was no problem but things have changed in last year. Never know, that test you spoke of just might be the start of fixing this problem. Your never alone with all this and would be great if people you know would get together and help with cost and transport if need be to doctors or food shopping. You will most certainly be on my mind daily. Weather you believe or not, will be praying for you. I do not feel that is a waste of time. Take care the best you can. 😐

$800 ! Geeez. Here in Illinois, we just got a house at the end of September, and is two big lots. One is empty and the other is a 3-bedroom house, with a double garage, and a large attic that is partially converted to be a craft room for Donna. We pay $550 a month plus utilities. Wish you could move to someplace here and live much cheaper than you are. You would not need this size house I suppose but you would be paying around $300 or $400 a month. Hope something comes along where you can get on top of things and relax a bit. Hated to hear about you still having health issues too. // I watched this movie the other day. I did do one with you on Umbrella Academy awhile back. Sorry to hear you are still dealing with health and housing issues. We just moved in November to a town 13 miles from where we were but have not sold first house yet and we are on a super tight budget until then. The other house just needs to be torn down so not getting much of anything there. This new place has lots of room in attic, double garage with space above that and will be bringing my other garage bought a year ago for lab and for starting KZbin. Thats going to cost.. : ( Not sure if I ever will start a channel. I will be 68 in March.
