I just love them so much. It clearly shows that Castiel LOVES Dean. Through whole show. Even Misha said that. Destiel is a real thing, not just a hallucination of few fans. The only problem with this relationship is that Dean never admited that he loves Castiel back. IMO I think he love Castiel as a brother, as best friend, as soulmate, the closest companion, bc they have this special bond. But he isnt in love with him. And thats the exact reason why Castiel never said anything before. Bc he knew that his love for Dean is one sided. And when he died for the last time, he said to Dean what he really feels. And it was sad. Truly sad bc Dean hadnt time to process that, to say something, anything back. Some people will say that Dean is actually bi in closet and that he loves Cas back, that is your opinion, im telling mine. But either way, its one of the best written relationship in history of tv bc we all can interpreted it differently and i think that is what makes it beautiful
