waterloo is a top 25 math and engineering school in world. -This should be based on average/medium grade % of all incoming students. Just because you can get into an arts programme with 80%, - Waterloo for example, - it may constitute only 5% of their students.

If the majority of your grades are above 85 - 90 or so, it's no doubt you'll be accepted. However, if you have a subject with a grade below 80, your rate of getting accepted might be lower. I actually applied to this University and got accepted 2 months prior, that's probably because I got decent grades. Just study hard and you'll get into any Universities.

@@kendall9298 My apologies, I just read this now. It will usually vary depending on what program you took, for instance, you took visual arts which only requires 60% - 70% grade minimum (I'm not sure, just check) then your acceptance rate will be higher. But, if you applied for Nursing or Civil engineering which usually requires high minimum grades, then your acceptance rate will be lower, well if you are confident in your grades you might be all good then.

I guess this is ok for all rounded approaches to the min average, but places like McMaster for example have a lot more health and life science Students entering which require much more difficult entry. Mac health sci is literally the hardest program to get into but Mac business is very easy to get into so it’s really program dependant

The Carleton Universiry Is the easiest to enter in Canada. The McMaster and the Guelph are the hardest schools to enter in Canada. For the Science courses and Engineering there is some sense of having a high GPA. For languages it is a different ball game altogether.
