@@frondyt knowing what I know now, I would go with the k688 due to its much better bass signature and monitoring quality. I sort of prefer the visual aesthetics of the tank3, but the k688 looks sleek as well.

men this audio int is the same stuff as v8 soundcard it have the exactly same bt presents etc same sample rate same bit depth etc it even have the same effects like music stop when you speak etc in little words v8 have exactly the same factions as a budget garbage soundcard that comes with bm800 mic !!!!! fuck that the only deference is that maono offer 48v phadom power and that is a part that not in the same board with the sound card with that i mean they take v8 and just add a cheap phadom power but by looking the hardware of v8 it have phadom power but is not enable because v8 takes power via usb 2 and external battery

@@leskheyos there’s a couple of alternatives you ca try. You can also try with a trs to trrs cable. You ca also try headset port instead of the lne out.

@@HappyKillMoreTV. thanks for the questions and vote of confidence. So yes you can record with reverb and voice effects on. Your recording won’t erase when you turn off and on. It stays in memory.

@@ima_designer_99 glad to see there are others passionate about mics. During the ‘actual’ audio demo or comparisons I don’t play background music. But if you don’t like music at all in these types of videos that’s a personal preference. Or perhaps you just don’t like the music type. Also a personal preference. Haven’t really heard from anyone just yet say that’s it’s distracting where it counts🤷🏽♂️

I wish the sample rate was a little better for the recording buttons. Simply because it would be useful when recording short clips, you'd want them to sound like the original sample. With that dip in quality, it just makes it more difficult to reliably use it. For something like FiveM would be an interesting tool to use for certain Roleplaying Characters. Overall, it seems decent but almost feels like it would be more worth it to spend a little more to get more features.

@@korendokkan it depends how your connecting it. I connected my phone to the card hdmi in port using another usbc to hdmi adapter. Then ran another hdmi from the out to my monitor. Did it this way because I needed more length and to record.

cant get the controller to work (xbox/ps4) when I connect it to my steam deck while remote playing. any idea how to fix that?

Not sure what could be the issue. It connects to my Xbox controller is Bluetooth with nos issues. Though I will say it behaves weird with a pair of wireless earbuds I have. Is it the same issue for all controllers?

@@TekToyzGaming yeah whatever controller I hook up is the same issue. Although it appears only touch controls work. For example I can interact with the game by touching my screen or sweeping the touch pad on the ps4 controller 😓

@andrewbarreto5050 try connecting the controllers via cable to the Steamdeck to see if it works that way normally. Also when pairing does it actually pair. Also make sure the controllers are updated (firmware)

Yup this mixer is a one mic pony. Don’t know of any mixer that supports 2 mics in this price range. Fifine definitely doesn’t have one. I use the Maono au-am100 mixer for dual mic use. A bit more $$

@@sjtechzone appreciate the vote of confidence here. So I haven’t tried the 2 pm mics so can’t really say. I do think the pd200x is capable for your venture. In usb you can tweak it with the Maono link app. The other 2 mics are not compatible with the Maono link app. They do look promising based on some of the specs though. In this price range I think the pd200x comes out as one of my top choices. Another is the Fifine k688.

@TekToyzGaming Oh yeah, it worked great before it stopped working. Comfortable to use, responsive, good price. It's just a shame that it stopped working. It could be that mine was faulty and just didn't stand the test of time because I'm very gentle with my electronics, or it could be that these are just not durable long term in general.

@TekToyzGaming Most likely. I've been rocking a vertical mouse since that one bit the dust. It's surprisingly good for the wrist, even if it does feel a little awkward to use for more competitive games. I ordered a redragon m686 because design wise, it looks similar. So we'll see how that goes.

Hey friend, I have one exactly like yours, and I can transfer data from a one-terabyte hard drive to another one-terabyte drive. I’m not sure why it didn’t work for you. Maybe you could try it again to see what happens, because in my case, it works perfectly going from 1 TB to another 1 TB

@@simondpeterfernandez3103 thanks for the question. You’re gonna get some improvement, but not a vast amount. The usb audio is really good. Especially when you tweak it with the Maono link app. However with usb you won’t get the effects provided by the mixer.

@@quiltedstatue1325 thanks for the question. So if you lower your monitoring it’s going to lower sound for all 26:09. It doesn’t affect the output to the stream or recording.

I do agree that the Tank3 has a better aesthetic. It looks more professional with the subtle design. The AM8 honestly still looks really good though too. Probably better on stream/video with the RGB off. I think the AM8 is the better choice. Sound quality both are very similar for the most part. The AM8 definitely has the better bass and less hiss. And on top of that the $30 lower price tag makes it more competitive. Especially if your on a budget and don't want to skimp out on quality it seems like it would not let you down.

Watching the comparison between both mics it does seem like both are a very good pick for someone who wants a quality mic at low price point. The AM8 seems like the less hassle mic, requires less set up out of the box for someone who might not know how to do that stuff right away. It picks up your voice well enough and background noise is very hard to pick up. But it doesn't capture your voice as well as the A8. The A8 picks up way more detail, and results in a clearer sound of your voice. But it requires way more set up, because it picks up so much background noise. If you put in the extra work it can be as good or slightly better than the AM8. But the AM8 still seems like a quality mic.

@@TekToyzGamingThat as well. From my observation of what I've seen of this mic, if you just want to do plug in play with a USB-c to USB it's a very quality set up for a budget. But for someone who has more experience with audio mixing you have the option to go the XLR route. I'm considering buying a mic for my PC gaming set up. Between these two as someone who has almost no experience with audio I definitely see the AM8 as the better entry level option.
