About the training providers, I tried most of them. Gleim and FastForward are ok but the videos are kind of dry and boring. Surgent I didn't like at all. Tax Mama I didn't try but it's extraordinarily expensive. And then there's Passkey (now part of Hock International). It's a fraction of the price of the others, and the videos are so much better. They're actually fun to watch because she tells good stories from her real experience.

This is good, when I sent this to my local Community college and asked for feedback as a tool to share with students in the EA path. She said to long. Can we get something in the 5 to 10 minute range to pass on to our future EA candidates?

Not informative content for the structure and nature of the three enrolled agents' exams. More of a sales pitch for this company's product.

I appreciate watching these recordings to get an idea of how other EA's are shaping their career. I have officially passed all 3 parts of the SEE exam. Woohoo! I applied for the NAEA scholarship but haven't heard anything back since I applied. How/Whem does the NAEA contact submissions?

A lot of Independents and moderate Democrats will be voting Republican this midterm because of the lefts crazy policies. The Left has flown of the rails and America knows it.

Instead of plastering 'Here To Help' they should have put up 'Enrolled Agents' instead.

Might be a good idea to promote the certification. Most people don't know what an Enrolled Agent is!

She said twice that it depends on if you're single or joint. She completely miscategorized her findings. It has to do with the complexity of your return not if you're single/married.

I guess IRS EA exam/CPA exam is tough buds;average pass rate is 28% ~30%

Becoming an enrolled agent can certainly be a great career choice for a tax professional. It should also be noted that the IRS cannot enforce the regulatory requirements for registered tax return preparers as ruled by the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia this past January.

The video is somewhat misleading. They made it sound like all single people can do a 1040-EZ, which is hardly the case. Even the single woman they profiled with 1 W-2 and student loan interest cannot do a 1040-EZ.
