How does this work exactly? Like I am trying to practice SL1 with bosses in Dark Souls Remastered. Is there a folder for that? Or if I have a SL1 savefile and click on the All Bosses savefile will it teleport me there with a SL1 character? I don't think so, right?

Sorry for late reply, but no it is not that advanced. It just simplifies te file management on your PC and allows you to enable hotkeys to replace your savefile and some other useful tools that are not game specific. You will have to quit out to the main menu first before you replace the savefile. Same is true for the other save organizers. Plenty of people who use these tools for practice will combine it with other tools specific to that game though, like Gadget for DS1/DSR. More info here soulsspeedruns.com/ds1remaster

You can create folders from the save organizer for anything you want to keep separate, and all the root folders for where you have set the game savefiles to be will be treated as "profiles" if you have the profile mode enabled in the settings.

These types of setups are used in speedruns. Weirdly, some speedrun categories allow glitches, but they don't allow cheat engine.

There is no cheat engine or any other external tools being used in this clip. You are welcome to believe what you want, but this is posted as a reference for the people who might wanna work it into a speedrun or just do it for fun :)

@@Boneheaded0 thinking about it like a toolbelt is pretty much how it works at this point. I just had the goal of grabbing the lightning spear without needing the key from gulch giants. Knowing that a ladder was facing the door I needed to go through means I have a clear idea of how to enter, but there are no enemies in the pit and you cannot go from the top (parrywalk breaks and you fall down), so that left me with very few options left. The more restrictions you have to work around the easier it is to see the final pieces from there pretty much. I don't really play this game much anymore, but all the tools from my days of speedrunning are still there.

I feel like I'm missing something here. I don't remember there being a Flexile Sentry just before the Shrine of Winter, and why did the dragon skeleton reanimate as soon as you entered Aldia's Keep (without lighting the torches)?
