Jeep is too far forward on the trailer, too much tongue weight.

How did they work out, did it make it really rough, or do you feel them on normal driving? Looking at getting a set for my f150
@FFPM3716 ай бұрын
Before the install you had 9 inches in the wheel well. After trailer only it went to 8.5. AFTER the install with just the trailer you had 7 3/4. How did you go from 8.5 to 7 3/4 with trailer only by only adding the new bump stops?

So far, so good. We take it off in the winter months and use the hard top. Summer is here, and it went right back on no problem. It's rained quite a bit over the last few weeks, and I've seen no leaks, and I dont notice any water in the jeep after pressure washing it.

Heading to Moab at the end of the week and looking for REAL info regarding trail difficulty levels since online ratings are somewhat all over the place. Wanted to see the "Victim" and what was entailed whether it was due to inexperience, bad luck, or just an overtly difficult section... As others have mentioned... No "Victim"...Just click bait... C'mon folks.. Some of us are watching this stuff trying to discern fact from hyperbole... Just stick to reality please??? Hope you're happy...you got another view because apparently that's all that matters these days...

That hose really bumped the price up, as well as upsizing all fittings. On my own setup, which cost half what you paid, I used all my extra fittings to add air to garage at several places. My most favorite is a quick connect outside the garage on the wall, which I just plug in a pigtail line for quick work. Air connects on the bumper bars are next.

how often do you change your oil in the jeep? Just curious. I have been using the high mileage full synthetic oil on my wife's jeep now for past 3-4 years (she is a PA and drives 50 miles one way to the hospital where she works; so about 100 miles a day, 5 days a week). I usually let her rack up almost 10k miles or more before I change the oil and filter. I also started applying the SeaFoam Motor treatment cleaner which I add into the Jeeps gas tank. I do that every few months, with my car as well (since both are vehicles are over 100K miles. Her jeep has 170K miles. Thanks for the video.
@mulloutdoors2 жыл бұрын
That is a good question, I run synthetic as well, usually change it every 3-5k. The reason for that is since its not a daily driver it tends to sit more, also when we do drive it we're really harsh on it. Every 3 oil changes ill put seafoam directly into the crank case for the last 20ish miles or so (usually a trip to work and the parts store then home). Every other tank of gas gets seafoam in it since it sits so much. We've got about 110k miles on it. Also just flushed the radiator this year and I change the air filters (engine and cabin) regularly. Every time I do they are absolutely filthy. Let me know if you have any other questions!
@timothyelliott6052 жыл бұрын
@@mulloutdoors Thank you. Yeah I just started doing that myself regularly for both our vehicles, changing the engine air filter and the cabin air filter regularly. I only do the seafoam in the gas tank. So when you say the crankcase, do you mean adding it to the same place where you add the engine oil?
