Shazam became horrible tbh, in 2013 it would find 99% of the songs, ( sometimes very rare DJ mixes ) now it only recognizes only the most popular ones.

This is terrible it fails to ID about 90 percent of the music I have tested it with. I did 50 tracks and it found 5.

I'm sorry to hear this Zachary. I have never had issues with Shazam identifying songs. Are the ones you're trying mainstream music? Is your phone speaker close enough to the audio for it to pick it up?

@@NuveraCommunications No they aren't mainstream. Yes I adjusted my phone mic in many different positions. Sometimes If i try to ID 1 song 10 times ill get it.

i dont know for english but in french it could not find some popular songs that i know very well and sang the beat clearly. i think its not very reliable yet. it needs some work.

Ok so got the Shazam app and now how to do it simultaneously. It does not work. I either need to have another person here with their phone OR Alexa! Oh well some things are just harder than they need to be that’s life!

Use split screen fiture on your phone, and play the music in one window, while activate Shazam in another window

@@drambolene-9372 there is the way to split screen on iPhone, just find out about it. If you cant, you can use background shazam and play the song, shazam would automatically recognize that passively
