I have two coming out this year though they are indie and might be hard to find. One called "Don't Tell Larry" I think is a really, funny, suspenseful, original film. Another called "RATS!" is an insane, violent, crazy ride. I was such a tiny little part in Bernie (just a quick glanse at me as a student in the first minute of the film) that I had no direct interaction with Richard or Jack, sadly!

I just got this tremmory (Tremmory S) doohickey and put it in my 7 string Sterling Richardson. It works amazing. I wanted a 7 string with a tremolo that I could retune slightly, typically between drop Ab to drop B range. The cavity is very shallow on that guitar so I couldn't drill anything. Tremmory requires no mods. I lubricated Tremmory with a bit of triflow to reduce the rubbing noise on its shaft. It works amazing. Very happy (except for the price). I don't know why no one makes it in US. Such a simple design. Way overpriced for basically a couple of cleverly latched counterbalanced springs. All the other "similar" trem stabilizers are overly complicated, requiring screwing stuff into the guitar and they don't really work as well.

Agreed on all counts. I had previously used a Tremol-No which I also loved but required replacing the spring claw and I have one guitar that has non-standard screw spacing on the claw. Then the last one I tried had a fault and rattled so I searched for another solution and found the Tremmory. Now I have them on ALL my trem guitars. The price does seem a bit steep and also when I lost the thumbscrew off one, I found out that due to some weird international laws or something, they literally could not sell me a replacement part in the US. I ended up getting a friend in Amsterdam to let me use his address then he shipped it to me. It was bizarre.

This version works as a improvement, if anything the fact that you haven't already thought this up deeply troubles me.
