Nice job! My only issue is that you started out with safety first, and then turned without the tail stock in place. For any beginners out there, it’s always safer to engage the tail stock with a live center whenever possible.

My Dad made things just with hand saws and knives.. Made us kids whistles when we were young. Just plain ones. Yours is very nice. I can't imagine a kid next door not being outside playing with those a lot. Sad they don't know where they are. Great job making and great job doing the video.

Lots of pigeons, gulls, crows, but not many song birds left as I think not many safe places to raise their young. I'm hoping to change that.
