I appreciate everything that Coach D. did for the football program except how he left it. No transition plan set the program back years and unfortunately reversed a lot of what he built. Great memories for sure and he made students, alumni extra proud being a Spartan. Games were fun and meaningful. Hopefully we can be so fortunate to return to those days now that the bar has been raised.

I remember watching this game at home. MSU was 0-2 heading into this game and coming off an ugly loss to Oregon (back when that was a non-conference game). Couldn't believe how the Spartans dominated the Irish in this one.
