Commenting on the dangerous act of re-tuning/ecu re-mapping your car. It is well known fact through out the car sales world around the world that if you re-map/re-tune your ecu you loose all your warranty rights under law. This is also noted by the fact that none of these businesses will give a written warranty for engine or drive train damage to your car. These people and businesses are as bad as phone scammers.

@@selectnine Wow, that's actually not that bad. Considering the only two decent coilover suspensions available for my Porsche 718 Cayman S are $3500 USD, $9k AUD for a custom setup is a deal.

Seems to be running well mate ! Little bit of understeer , perhaps a stiffer rear stabilizer would help maybe ? That engine definitely needs a bigger track to stretch it legs ! What sort of power is it putting down ?

yeh fair bit aye, honestly though I'll try new tyres first cause they're old af. basically got them when the engine was being built, so like 5yrs old now. the wheel alignment was done by Garage88 so I reckon it'll be the tyres for sure.

Nice video...but what's the pupose of doing so?....after hours of mounting and demounting stuf from the car what's the gain?...10 maybe with luck 15 hp?...like other hundreds of chips on the market?...thouse are moore easy to instal and demount when going to official service....this one?...no thanks...useless....better remap factory ecu and convert to stock when you go to service when needed...it's less time consuming than this marveleous piece of work.

Can’t compare a flash tune to a standalone ecu. This is for Motorsport purposes where tuners need access to every part of the electronics and engine systems. The i30N race series in Aus is using this system also as a means of controlling and unifying the tunes across all competitors. Making sure no one has unfair advantages with tuning tricks.

Nice build mate 👍 are you using a r32 mk4 forged crank ? Or a balanced mk5 BUB crank ? Whats your horsepower goals ?
@selectnine4 жыл бұрын
Cheers mate, much appreciated Yep we're using the mk4 forged crank that we had balanced and clearanced for ACL race bearings. Also running a Bartek bottom end girdle to stop any lateral forces on the block. Right now it's on 330kW at all 4 wheels. Goal would be a nice 380-400kW (~500bhp) at the wheels. Motor and Trans are capable of more power, but the driver is not hahaha
