I doubt I could ever be trained to know what Turing knew. He needed to be supported by the world. He was special.

The Lebenborn program was horrible and disgusting. We cannot blame the children for what happened to them. The blame is solely the responsibility of those evil and vile Nazis. They made this happen to innocent children. It is sort of like a Gilead program. These people who administered this program should have been punished.

the US where you Englnd pursued Turing for the God-forsaken crime of homosexuality. That non-crime override the fact he saved England and all of Europe. So now UK is in deep economic slump, should we feel sorry for them? No, I save my sorrow for Turing,. England is like a child at the knee of the US wiling to go to war at the drop of a hat. They need every Turing they can find, but England is so predictable. They will pick idiots like Blair, Johnson and Sunak every time.

It's unbelievable how depraved humanity is pointing the finger to Hitler as the worst person on the Earth and look at these norwegians and Germans and French who completely ostracized these children who had nothing to do with the decisions of the adults!! why is that ?why do the children have to pay the price ?when does the cycle ever stop!!!!

The story of these women abandoning their children even after the war And creating so much trauma is something that you would not have found amongst the Jewish Mother's and fathers.

I only found Slice History recently. Some excellent, if disturbing, documentaries. This was hard to watch. These people wouldn't even exist if not for the decision to encourage multiple children families and children out of wedlock. What happened after their birth is a scandal. I don't know how they possibly grew up without permanent damage to their self-esteem.

Very poor assessment of Yalta. Neither Churchill nor Roosevelt was weak., The simple fact is that the Red Army at great cost drove the Germans out of Eastern Europe. And there was nothing America and Britain could do to change the brutal facts on the ground.

Yet, there is no trace, in the labyrinth images, of the Siatic Passage (dug by grave robbers 3,000 years ago), or the gorgeous Seb Court beneath the burial chamber. It is as though they've been erased. Why? The Huge Seb court's walls are covered with unusual paintings (not the usual pictoglyphs), and the floors with faience tile. Something valuable had been originally stored there.

In Egypt, an agrarian country whose planting and harvesting period was seasonal, people had nothing to do during the flood season. This probably stimulated the development of an elaborate funerary culture, whose businesses (building and decorating tombs, making sarcophagi, producing and trading pigments used for painting and writing, etc...) kept the people working and obtaining the income necessary for buy food stored from the previous harvest.

A brilliantly crafted narrative. Winston Churchill will remain a legend for his amazing achievements, innovative mind and superb communications. He had major flaws, several significant failures and blind spots( including an unshakeable belief in imperialism) but remains one of the giants of contemporary history. He will remain forever the spirit that represented UK's survival in WW2 against all odds, and Nazi Germany's eventual defeat.
