Surprisingly nice. For me it only actually starts at Part One. Great music in the style of Berlin School, instead of just covering or copying it!

Nice is fine agerven - yes most people like a nice kick or pulse, they are not into all that slow whoosy chordal intro stuff :) ... There is a whole playlist of 50 + my original Berlin school jams of which 1 is teaching you how to sound a bit like TD here kzbin.info/www/bejne/nIqWgpWap9OGmrs&ab_channel=GaryPHayes

Love this video Gary and sounds amazing but I'm a bit confused how are you getting the different sounds from the Berhinger is it just one sequence from the SQ1 giving different sounds? Apologies I'm a bit of a newb
@GaryHayes5 күн бұрын
THanks LL1 - there are multiple sequencers here (2 SQ1s, there are ones built into both the volcas and the NTS1s and even the MicroFreak) so lots of options to play the various sounds. The sounds are also pretty varied, the modelD is just a single monophonic analog sound, but there are other sounds coming from the MicroFreak, NTS1s and Volca Keys so, perhaps you are hearing some of them. It is not just the behringer model D making the sounds!

@GaryHayes Thanks for the reply Gary , love the music and videos you make , much appreciated!
@PhilipTaylor_0075 күн бұрын
Nice one Gary. Looks like a simple patch but with complex sequencing. Have a great Christmas.
@GaryHayes5 күн бұрын
Cheers Phil, glad you liked. Yes with semi modular, the ModelD and Taiga it is really about just sculpturing the sound on the module and as you know on this Berlin rig, most things are normalised so very little patching as such - in fact wouldn't even call it a patch really as even the sequencing is normalised (meaning pre wired) - you have a great break too and may the music sing forth!
@gregmarshall19595 күн бұрын
Great stuff. As usual.

@@GaryHayes and to you - I do too... still trying to make sense of my 'Hayes Berlin' case... slow progress compared to Elektron based rig!
@GaryHayes4 күн бұрын
@@gregmarshall1959 yes noticed you have gone big into Elektron - for me the strategy was very much evolved from my early Berlin jams -1/2 two main semimodulars with independent sequencing. 3 Basic simple drums, 4 an off the wall sequencer/sound pair (here chaos/brains) 5 pads 6 varied solo machine and 7 a simple main out multiFX. The rest is just moving stuff into a good flow arrangement of modules

Haaaa! I love it! 👏 From Klaus Schulze, Tangerine Dream, it sounds like the Ricochet album at times like here : - Ricochet : kzbin.info/www/bejne/o6Gan2uYjZ2XaMksi=KWeNjlfa6qrSueS0&t=1669 - Your live : kzbin.info/www/bejne/gp7Yl5iem9tno6Msi=rVfEQRNyO3lCkQ6X&t=1353 I love the blending of the sequences! I'd love it if you could offer us a video that starts from scratch with a patch and your work on sequences with different sequencers, and explains how you think your melodies with them. Anyway, have a great holiday season and thanks for your work! 🎄
@GaryHayes5 күн бұрын
Hey thanks v much HM - yes a big fan of TD and Ricochet in particular, so it often sneaks in when I am just in the flow! A very influential album for many. I wonder if I ever saw the sun rise in its splendor I told him yes Then he asked me if I could feel his warm caress, I said yes. He nodded and asked me what the stars looked like, if they watch over each night of ours I told him they are eternal... I wonder if they know if from afar they feel the cold, to which I said they burn inside. He asked me with fear if they know about love or if they feel it, I told him I didn't know I wonder why while many desire life and burn inside, many are so far from the one who is so close... He asked me if I could see the mirror and the second voice that answers me in my head, He asked me and I didn't stop, questioning that intense love that little by little melted into a new star... For a thousand days and for one night nothingness itself, second tyrants and thieves distill me. She told me to wait, that every day is a beloved teacher, who eagerly awaits us to improve and that he is always willing to teach us, that I should not rush, that I should be quiet, that I should read between the lines... and she told me that she was still waiting at my door, that I should shut up the noise, that I should listen to the silence and start from deeper inside. She asked me again if what I felt was true, something ineffable, but fortuitous in joy. She told me that it was okay if I didn't know, that I wouldn't understand it now. She asked me what I would do now and if that would be of any use. She looked at me again and said that I should hug myself and that everything would change. A drop of comfort from afar, that was me in my mirror. A look from heaven... that loves, forgives and lives with good memories because it is the best gift you can give yourself, dear Pedro. ¨a meeting of my future with my present¨ (poem written inspired by ¨I live in the mesosphere¨ by Gary Hayes)

Looks like I’m trying to drive too many modules on this one battery pack. Will have to re think on this mobile rack.
@GaryHayes12 күн бұрын
Ah yes sounds like the issue - modular grid gives a useful Amps readout as you try different configs as you probably know
@PhilipTaylor_00713 күн бұрын
The Battery rates at - PD60W 20V/3A, 15V/3A, 12V/3A, 9V/3A, 5V/3A
@GaryHayes13 күн бұрын
What is the voltage req of your 'pod rack' and then the Amps of the modules?
@PhilipTaylor_00713 күн бұрын
This is something different, hands free. Self-generating. You have lots of cool stuff happening Gary. Sounds great. Having dramas with my mobile rack, the +12 rail keeps dropping out, whether it’s the battery or cable?????? Will keep trying to fix it.
@GaryHayes13 күн бұрын
Thanks Phil - I probably need a few more utilities to do global changes like melodic transposing or switching to totally different modules to makde it even more varied. Re: dropping out guess you are on top of total amp usage on that rail? Obviously you have a PD rated battery pack to give you the extra oomph?
