I agree with Alicia about Obsession. I see how Dwayne got there but it’s for sure a spring/summer game. A good triple cream cheese is my favorite. Although really I’ll eat just about any kind

Um, er, interesting Christmas list... 🤔 For real tho, it was refreshing to hear a different list than the usual. And I enjoyed hearing how you made the connections. Fave cheese - sharp cheddar, no ricotta, no wait provolone, can't go wrong with parm & romano on just about anything 😋

Of course Die Hard is a Christmas movie, and I've got the ornaments to prove it! Sorry Alicia, I saw that look, lol! That's why I can't figure out why Hunted: Kobayashi Tower wasn't on Dwayne's list??? But great choices, and I love the tie-ins to Christmas! 😂 Favorite cheese - I think the name is Manchego, and I love the one with rosemary on the rind, but it's hard to find. Regular Manchego is in most stores that have a nice cheese selection. If I can't find that, a good Gouda is my go to, aged or smoked preferably.

@@JacobRamirez-li9dt My family might agree with you - one year a local theater had a midnight Christmas Eve showing of Die Hard and I hauled them all with me to see it, lol!!! Luckily it was one of those places that has a restaurant and I got them all pizza and nachos and they were pretty happy with the deal!!

Plan on playing multiple games of Jokkmokk so you can see all the sets in action. We used (in this order) the First Game sets, then Souvenirs sets, Friends and Family sets, Excursions sets, and The Gift of Giving sets. That order will rotate in 3-4 new sets of cards each game, so you can get a feel for how various sets can work together. So, yeah, we've been playing this a lot!😁 On your list I would've swapped in Christmas Movie Magic for Network. It's perfect to play while watching Christmas movies! We've been having sooooo much fun with it this year! Favorite cheese? Don't make me have to choose!🤣 Merry Christmas! 🎄🎁🎅

@blackboardgaming5348 There were a couple of good ones. I stopped by the Saashi booth to pick up 2 games, that was great. I enjoyed playing Tiger and Dragon from the library and Babylon in the first look area. Cities demo was a good time with friends. It was also nice to see Red Raven, say hello again, and buy some merch.

Gutted to hear you got hit by porch pirates. But glad to hear your trip went well otherwise. In your opinion, do you think you need more than one day to experience PAX? I went just on Saturday for maybe 6 hours and feel like I missed so much. I am wondering if I need to go multiple days next time.

I enjoy simultaneous action games because more players doesn't necessarily mean a longer play time. In my experience, if multiple players achieve a goal in the same turn, they all get it. That sounds like a design flaw if a game lets the faster player steal a bonus away from everyone.

@JasonOshinko that was my problem with Earth. If I remember correctly, if all players get the bonus on the same turn, the active player gets the biggest bonus, and the other players going clockwise receive the lesser bonuses. Also, I enjoy watching the other players' strategies play out.

Creature Caravan is great. How much fun can you fit into one box? This game says "More than you might think." Played 4 times so far and each time it's been a little different of an engine going on. Excellent game. And beautiful art as always with Red Raven.

I had to get a new copy when they did the Creature Caravan + reprints campaign because the cards of our original game was so damaged from wear. (And yes, I've sleeved the Roam cards now, as well as the Creature Caravan cards!) Roam is a terrific game!

Nice video. I have a stepdaughter that loves making pottery so I bought myself and her a copy of Sunrise at the studio. We played it and I thought it was a good game. It fell in that dreaded OK category where most games fall for me 😳

Although I wouldn't consider it a party game, Quiddler is an inexpensive word game! It's a deck of cards, which will fit a standard deck box. It's one of my grab-n-go games. You're making words from cards & it's a lot more portable than Scrabble😁 You'll need a scrap of paper (or paper napkin😆) to score each round. Player count is 1-8!

3 of a Kind looks right up my alley. I'll be checcking that out. As far as recommendations: Tapple and Paperback are strong party games for traditional groups. Heavier word nerds would likely enjoy Illiterati. Also, if you can find a working copy, I'd also strongly recommend Electronic Scattergories. It fixes the problems of the regular editions by having far more categories, randomization of categories, and mixing up gameplay.
