I know you've not loved the process, but the end result looks good. Would these be OK to use spray cans with, or might the accelerant be problematic with the MDF?
@WyvernMinis15 күн бұрын
Thanks mate, yeah I am pleased with them in the end. Mostly it was my issue I think, although it is a bit annoying getting into all those cut out wooden bits! They came to me assembled and sprayed already, I'm not sure if he did anything to them first - I have heard various things from people saying that they need painting with PVA first or something like that. I've always found that these type of MDF terrain pieces take spray paint fine, and if there are any slightly blotchy bits it doesn't really matter. I gave them a couple of coats of Munitorum Varnish after they were painted.

@WyvernMinisАй бұрын
Good question! I don't have any of the "new" ogres (i.e. Ogre Kingdoms), I have some of the very old metal ones! The Mercenery and Warrior ogres are on regular 25mm bases so they are a bit smaller. The big ogres are on 50mm wide bases and overhang a bit, so they're a bit bigger. GW ogres go on 40mm bases quite comfortably. I'll dig out my old ogres for a comparison! I was looking at alternate 3D sculpts earlier on, deciding if I want to replace all or some of them - there are a lot of great ogres out there, too many to choose from!
