BRAVO ! Ueno is perfect in the last act and stayed within the very classical mode in her extensions as well as lines with great balance. Vogle of course was capable in doing Albrecht superbly. I particular liked their pa de deux of ghost scene which is always my favorite of Giselle. She was weightless as she should with willowey softness unlike some other ballerinas like Osipova who reminds me of gymnast rather than dancer.

Ottimo balletto sia nella parte più convulsiva della corsa del ballerino sia quando la schiena diviene crinale del mirabile convolo della partner.Ottimo ed essenziale l'apporto del corollario danzante che da' il senso del continuum della pièce. BTAVISSIMI .BIGHIN GIULIO RENZO

l undrestand ,the level is terrific in these competitions with people from japan korea kazakksztan ,technicall level is really terribily hight ,who will win in your opinion? .and again congratulation being arrived at that round is already very good in varna

Thank you very much! Yes, it is a bit different from the usual versions I have seen. I rehearsed with Viesturs Jansons, a former principal with Estonian national ballet. He apparently learned this version from someone in Latvia who knew the closest thing to the original choreography. Forgive me for not remembering his name - however it was a great experience to dance this role and I'm very thankful for it.
