Happy to have a quiet word to formerly man-bun Monty about how poorly dicks swing after a few years on estrogen lol

Traditionally wedding dresses were actually just the best gown that you had and it didn't really matter about colour. The white wedding dress originated with Anne of Brittany on the occasion of her marriage to Louis XII of France in 1499. But it wasn’t until 1840, when Queen Victoria married Prince Albert, that the white dress was made popular. So my point is if you want a pink dress for your wedding have it!

100% agree with everything. Best advice you've given is "you do you". Do something because you want to, not because it's tradition. I'd also add the first dance is weird. Two people dancing awkwardly with everyone standing around watching them. Cringe! We stayed together the night before and got ready together, had Monty King lead a short and sweet ceremony (my mother-in-law making a sodomy joke after Monty said "solemn" within the first 30 seconds of the ceremony...!), no big cake (just dessert), parting gift was a take home cocktail, and kick on drinks after the long lunch. Only thing I possibly would change would be to do photos earlier in the morning before the ceremony so we could have the canapes with our friends and family, but it was also really nice having some time alone together after the ceremony.
