Hey fellas, good review - looks like another solid product from Mr. Cartoon/Turtle Wax. I haven't tried the Quick Wax yet but, have used the Mr. Cartoon Detailer and Slick Wash & Wax and have been very satisfied with both. The Shampoo is very similar to the ICE Shampoo which I loved but has been long discontinued. As always, gr8 values and results from TW. Shine on you crazy diamonds!

BOYS, I like Seal 'N Shine better than the product you are promoting. AND, after you use S 'N S, use the ICE spray wax, a wicked combo.

On The new car can we directly use after washing and drying the car ?
@PureOctaneGarage9 күн бұрын
Yes, you can use after you wash and dry the vehicle. You will get better performance if you prep your surface after washing and drying (clay, iron remover, polish, and panel prep wipe down)… but it is not necessary. Thanks

My past solutions involved just using a similar white slurry from Rain-X with Stoner Glass Cleaner, together; apply, rub around with soft cloth, then buff the white residue away. Apply final treatment, basic original Rain-X still works great with zero residues, very inexpensive, done. The DIY anal retentive car geeks equate tedious steps with quality, but that is a bogus concept. Triple washing is ridiculous; 20 years ago on a fast XC trip from Colorado to Minnesota, a violent rainstorm was reducing my visibility to dangerous levels, and literally lifted my wipers off the glass on my old Subaru GL in the crosswinds. I finally spotted a Walmart, took the exit, and then thankfully found the original Rain-X bottle. I had to sit under a gas station awning to dry the glass, and then apply the solution, dried and buffed it, repeated. Back on the road, I was literally passing Semis at 75, the rain so hard it washed over the hood, but the water just blew off with the wipers just on intermittent. Since then, the only product as good was small spray can of No Touch, which even worked on wet glass, but I don't see it any more. Old glass cleaned once receives the treatment just fine, and that extra time spent is likely pointless. It is hard to fathom why Rain-X changed for the worse, as the only minor peeve was the application process, yet many new far pricier "wonder products" are even more tedious, in line perhaps with the notion that the extra labor, and cost, for the DIY obsessive must equate with a superior result - which tests do NOT necessarily support.

What is the best for water spots on car and windows
@zakandro7939Ай бұрын
It doesn't last for 1 year but it last until you wash your car.I applied it to my car 1 time and in 24 hours I applied it again. after 1 week I washed my car. when I cleaned the car at first only with water I could see that the ceramic was there and the water was almost all slipping away from the car. but when I soaped the car with special soap and when I cleaned the foam with water, the water did not slipping from the car. the ceramic lasts until you wash the car again. it is like all other liquid waxes. they didn't last more than 1-2 washes and disappeared...

The poblem is the tar dries on the surfac. You need to get past the surface to the softer tar. I have a pickup truck to do this Saturday that is completely coated around the wheels on the fenders. Someone drove through a freshly tarred road. I am going to try using a heat gun to soften up the tar and then hit it with WD-40 to see if that works better.
@alragucАй бұрын
Well, it worked like magic. I heated the area.woththe heat gun for a couple minutes and saw the tar start to melt. Then applied WD-40 and wiped the tar off. Saved myself a lot of time and WD-40 in the process. Before, it would have taken many applications of WD-40. There you have it.

Excellent! Appreciate the update and the added tip! Thank you for checking out the video

I am a detailer. You want to wash the area first so whatever product you use to remove the tar, you don't want to waste the product on a dirty car.

It's over 110F this week, and already 95F at 7am this morning, so I decided to do a waterless spray this morning instead of my full car wash. I recently bought D3FY and already had a bottle of CG Waterless that I had never used. So I did half the car in CG and half with D3FY. Honestly, if it wasn't for D3FY's stronger scent, they sprayed, cleaned, and wiped identically, and both were equally slick. The car looks amazing, and just as nice if I did a full foam, dry, and detailer. We'll see over the next week if one side or the other attracts more dust/dirt. I like them both so far... but the Chemical Guys is $20 cheaper per gallon.

Been using most of the product line. Have not seen clouds or streams when used correctly. For the detail-er, shake bottle well, mist the area, wipe with clean MF towel, buff with clean side or another dry towel. My car is not black, which does show the most issues for any product. My question is, did you closely examine the paint before using the product, because I did not see any close-up before shots to insure nothing was already sealed in by a previous protective coating or left by a soap? This spray picks up loose dirt and bug guts that have only recently been acquired. It is not necessarily a water free car wash product, though when used as directed can delay the need for a complete wash.

I just started using the Max wax this year. I use it on my Indian Challenger motorcycle. Stupid easy product to use with mind blowing results. I actually wax the whole bike at one time. Then go back to the start area and begin the removal and buffing. Had excellent results. In my opinion this is the best wax for me dollar for dollar. Great video.
