Ridden from Retford to Stockwith and back many times. For some reason, the section of canal from Clayworth to Hayton is very neglected and impassable at times due to being so overgrown. The canal itself is no better on that section and gets full of reeds and weed. For that reason I usually get on the road between the Boat Pub at Hayton and the moorings at Clayworth. Just a short section but saves a lot of misery.

The Don Gorge between Conisbrough Water Tower and Sproborough has many interesting features, the Banana cave, the ruins of the abandoned hamlet of Levitt Hagg, the many tunnels under the railway line linking the quarry to the riverbank and the impressive geological features which attract rock climbers .

Hi Donny Lad. Thanks for posting the videos. I'm gradually making my way through them. I like how you talk along the way while riding, such a lot of other videos are just riding at break neck speed and no commentary . Its great I can now talk to her instead of gasping for breath all the time. thanks again, keep it up!
