Unfortunately there was no fix here. The bubbling cells were producing hydrogen gas ..... overcharging. This caused another cell to drop out and we were at 8.6v ==destroyed. Try adding concentrated sulfuric acid to you weakest cells. problem is getting pure acid at more than 10%.

Victron mppt (see phone app) has 300W panel in parallel with 2-100W (in series) panels. The pwm-solar charge controller to the right has 6-100W panels in parallel. Both controllers fed 178Ahr-12.8v LFP battery. that powers a 600W inverter.

Replacing the plastic cooling pipes (see Key Vanagon Upgrades video) that run the length of the Vanagon with stainless steel pipes, like from GoWesty, has a big impact during summer driving. No longer have to dump heat using the rear heater

i cant lift mine.what i noticed when i try to bind the drone moving the joystick up end down it does not make any sound.is the problem with the controller?is beeping when i make the other preflight operations though

There are several ways to calibrate/bind the vertical and horizontal gyro. one way is to use the two buttons on the right hand side of the controller.....you should see and hear cues for horizontal and vertical. the other way is to use the "calibration" functions that are in the Rx Drone software program where you see the modes of flight (circle, waypoints). The battery for the controller needs to be carefully watched....it runs low very quickly...many choose to replace the battery.

Draining these large packs too far is really hard on the cells. Rebalancing on recharge is critical.

You are correct, i failed to show the drone being rotated. At frame 6:42 we showed how the software: (1) prompts to rotate 3x clockwise for the horizontal stability control calibration, and then (2) prompts the operator to hold the drone face-down for 3x clockwise rotations for calibrating the vertical stability control.

Yes, Ampere-Time 100Ahr LiFePO4...fully charged its like 13.3V so the voltage sag is well above the 10.5 low-voltage alarm of most inverters.

Part of the problem is the size of your cables they are way too small you need some four gauge at least also the length of cables should be as short as posible. Thank you for making this video.

Fortunately they provided four cables that i ultimately used (shown in the video). My lead acid battery was connected with very thick automotive grade cables. It appears 10 AWG, or lower is needed (6mm or greater diameter) to power the refrigerator via the inverter. It is noted that this inverter at idle, without powering an ac-load, consumed close to 2 amps. Even switched off it was consuming power from my batteries.

20% improvement by increasing the switching frequency. Lowered the battery drain rate. You went from 1.08v to 1.25v on the discharging battery. Great savings!

Hi, it's a bug in the APP, with low current, no data is shown. Bluetooth frames (which are not encrypted) are sent each second with correct data. Hoping this APP will be corrected soon.

Finally got the application program on the computer to intercept the bluetooth data packets. still very disappointed by the bluetooth protocols and the reduced precision in the transmitted data. This could have all been executed better. Drives me to want to program my own stuff.

@@zaneenaz4962 True, I think precision is less in the bluetooth frame because it's written on 2 bytes for example 0x3275 => 327.5V. In my case, I don't intercept bluetooth data packets => I use a board HM-10 to directly connect to the tool and then I put the notification ON for one address. But I don't find the energy in Kwh in the notification frame, but as it's visible in the APP, maybe one command frame should be send to get it back (with bluetooth interception, it's would be possible to find it, i will try). Moreover, I can't find what Power factor means, because it doesn't seen to be equal to [cos Phi].

Overall very pleased with my unit. Some observations re solar charging: After thorough testing, I can't figure out why solar input to the Pecron E600LFP is relatively low with panels in series (all other configurations, i.e. single panel or in parallel behave as expected). This is our test results (done with 340 W qcells rigid panels - Voc of 40.91 V and VMPP of 34.10 V): 300 W solar input from a single qcells 340 W panel 270 W solar input from two(!!) qcells 340 W panels connected in series So even lower input from two panels connected in series, than from a single panel!!?? 390 W solar input from two qcells 340 W panels connected in parallel 393 W solar input from three qcells 340 W panels connected in parallel Anyone got an idea, why the Pecron E600LFP has such a relatively low solar input from panels connected in series?

The MPPT senses the photovoltaic panel(s) voltage and currents (I), the change in I with V is then used to determine the operating point for the charge controller. Was not impressed with this charge controller....the controller was slow and sub-optimum. My testing of the borrowed Pecron unit showed that parallel solar panels deliver more energy and recharged the Pecron faster. Otherwise the Pecron and its inverter were great !

@@zaneenaz4962 Thank you for replying. Just really disappointing - and strange - having a lower solar input from TWO panels connected in series vs ONE single panel on its own. Under sunny conditions, it doesn't matter much, but in cloudy conditions (with much lower amps), it would be nice to have 80 volts from two panels connected in series rather than 40 volts from a single panel.

@@nikolajhol Power=V x I ...the current times the voltage matters. Early low light turn-on/charging always desired, but the mppt still manages to catchup. My preference is the panels in parallel, so each has the ability to deliver max current.
