I hope that they continue to work on getting Gigi's made an official historical site! Never been there but our LGBTQ history needs to be valued and preserved. Love to all the folks at Gigi's!

Loved the picture of Tony. I have not see his face in many years. My first gay bar ever was Gigi's and it was 1974 and remains my favorite.Tony and the boys were my first gay family. Thanks for the memories.

If people are going to be bigots screw them. I found out at a real young age not everybody is going to like everybody but I do not try to make others not like me. No laws saying blacks can not be cops or go to public school or library.

Thanks Scotty for the memories. I'll never forget '97 when a playoff goal was scored, we could hear neighbors blowing air horns. The atmosphere downtown after a win was something Detroit truly needed.

Stroh's was a great tasting beer being fired brewed, then the EPA came and told them no more wood firing and they had to switch to natural gas. It was never the same.

Religion and dharma are two different things.... religion is a community's "belief system" revolving around a supposed God. Dharma is universal and ,for the whole humanity , regardless of faith and belief Dharma means righteousness, Dharma has nothing to do with religion ? Many present day religions have come in to existence only in last 2000-2500 years, where as Dharma has been an age old tradition of Bharat.

How can I get Mayor Duggan to hear my idea for transit in Detroit?
@goldbrick2563Ай бұрын
I feel like mayor duggan should stay as mayor and finish the job for another term rather than run for governor. Detroit needs to continue going fwd, you dont want to lose momentum. He's gotta stay and solidify all the good changes. Is there anyone similar that could take his place?
