It took a while to get used to! My husband gets up at 4 for work and I’m a light sleeper so that helped me adjust lol

This is encouraging. Currently going thru PPD with a 2 year old and 3 month old. Today is the first time I’ve actually cried. I feel so weary. I’m happy to hear from another mom that it gets better.

I feel you on that. My kids are 21 months apart. Tears were definitely shed and It was a struggle for a while. Hang in there mama, it does get better ❤

I’ve heard it’s because of 2 things, which is the fact that emotions are so new, they don’t have a way to tell what’s a big emotion and what’s a small emotion, so everything feels massive, like imagine you dropped your ice cream on the floor but it feels like you’re being told you can never eat ice cream again, that sort of thing. But also, because they’re little and struggle to communicate, because they’re only just starting to learn how. Imagine you’re trying to explain something in a language you don’t know well, so it’s frustrating, and then compound that with frustration feeling giant and impossible to overcome. It’s easy to understand.
