Nice build but you need audio. Without narration you won't get much traffic to your channel. If you are shy use an Ai voice and say I'm shy at the beginning.

@ozantayar3 күн бұрын
@rumporbuiItskin since you can add text to the footage you can also add sounds and you can always use your phone to record your voice. You don't need fancy equipment just be creative. Good luck
@edwinerickson60352 күн бұрын
No one needs an AI voice. that would ruin the video.
@ozantayar2 күн бұрын
@@edwinerickson6035 read it again I said if you're shy at least use that and say you're shy and say that's why you're using it. There is a difference between using a simple text to speech till you get used to voicing yourself and using random Ai generated garbages and I'm pretty sure someone who's interested in piston engines in a sandbox game can differentiate between them and understand the content creator's intentions

It's not timed like a real engine so it vibrates a lot...
@invadervim903711 күн бұрын
You can have 2 pistons firing at once and time it like a 4 cylinder. It wouldn't be a fast, but it would have a lot of torque. And you can keep out the gear, i think there's just too much power loss there. You can also adjust the timing so it fires both cylinders at the end before working inwards, it might help keep the forces on the crank more even, which i think could be beneficial since it's so long.
@rumporbuiItskin7 күн бұрын
It's just completely impractical in all ways I'm not even sure if this version could even be good enough to power anything without gearing it down to the point of not having any power going to the wheels but that's a good idea. I've been thinking of making a couple engines with realistic timing so they're more balanced.
@invadervim903711 күн бұрын
That's looking rad man. I like the large form factor, not everything has to be micro. What different timing setups have you tried?

@rumporbuiItskin helicopter engines as bearings, you can make piston engines too, but they make crazy torque and like to flip stuff over.
@rumporbuiItskin13 күн бұрын
Couldn't you just use a spinning servo or rotating servo and set the strength to zero?
@nutsforbolts13 күн бұрын
@rumporbuiItskin you could do that, but using helicopter engines you can attach to the sides of it and essentially have a "through bearing"
@rumporbuiItskin12 күн бұрын
Yeah, good point, you could make it a lot more compact like that.

I love your way of doing this, timelapse but not timelapse, loved the radio on the car, and I'd recommend expanding the tire space, making it longer, wider. That way it wont flip as much, or make it flip more by making it smaller! Love the content man. Love ya!

@invadervim903725 күн бұрын
@rumporbuiItskin unfortunately that's just what it is. The only thing that will work like a "clutch" is the smart engine from the modpack. You set it's angle and speed to 0, and just adjust the power input to allow it to engage if that makes sense. It's really just a dead end though.
