for each battery, you should also mention how long it takes for charging to lets say extra miles and it is good for the viewers to know the price of each such pack. without these two extra info, it is hard for me to decide which one is better and cost efficient.

Which dash cam front and rear coverage can you recommend that doesn't require the use of a smartphone? I do not want to have to pay extra money to pay for wifi or an application. I just want to use the SD MEMORY CARD to plug onto the home computer for retrieval of data for police/insurance/law firm.

It needs to be powered all the time to work. It does not include internal battery. The moment you turn off the engine (power) the camera will turn off. A workaround for parking besides purchasing another accessorie to be connected to the internal power source. (Is to use an external powerbank) plug it to the usb port.

Do any of these dash cameras use SD memory cards that can be used in a home computer for playback and retrieval? I don't want to pay regular monthly subscriptions 🤑for Wi-Fi or applications and need to be hooked up to a smartphone.

It was a cool designed product, sadly the night image sucks and the fact that when you had the Mini 2 combined with the W66 together the Garmin app will crash on the iOS version while trying to download the video back and front together... I got tired of Garmin not fixing that issue so I bought a chinese cheap camera that had 4K video quality and great night video resolution for less than half of the price of what garmin offers. Some times the brand is the price, not the quality. I don't recommended for the price.

I got this through the company safety program where I work. They had the next base dash cam before so I got that to install in my wifes car it works good only downside is the weight of it. End of summer the stickiness wears off and It sags and I end up having to replace the sticky pad. They took off the next base and now have the garmin. Seems more simple to use and install and I like the size. The tacoma windshield doesn't have much space so l will have to play around for a good spot where it won't interfere

I have both. The Garmin is by FAR the better choice, the clarity is impressive and the wider viewing angle is a must. Very easy to setup and understand. Looks better inside your cabin and is also cheaper. The nextbase has some unique features, when they work, which most of the time they do not and their customer service is absolutely shocking. Save yourself the headache, the Garmin is a no brainer. Thank me later

what a load of cobblers " oh running low on juice !" pulls into the servo , 10 minutes later pulls out with a full tank plus a 5 liter container full that when used , within 2 minutes gives you an extra 50 kms ! cost ? 5 ltr container $10 , fuel , $8 , weight 5 kg ,,,,,,,,,,, portable ev charger ? $2,200 to $3800 !!!! weight 22kg to 38 kg , ! reckon the little lady will be heaving one of these around ?, not likely !oh yeah these are a great idea !!!
