Excellent tutorial! This is pretty much exactly how I do it. I'd recommend using a vice to squeeze the plates together (especially if you're gluing more than one plate) but you can definitely just do it with your fingers. Also regarding the thickness of the brick faces, I've found that 1x bricks seem to have thicker edges than 2x bricks, and so you generally need less plates to make a grippable stock.

How would you remove any excess glue? (like when it came out the sides for the mag)

The glue on the dark tan? Thats just a rejected production item, with a minor swirl in it. In general you cant really remove glue but you can break the connection off, and try again

I’ve always wondered how you modders cut the parts. That hammer method seems to work super nicely, definitely gonna try sometime now that I know how to attempt it
