I guess this video explains how Amtrak Surfliner cab car 6953 (Point Conception) got its new hybrid horn sound. Originally, Amtrak Surfliner cab car 6953 had an ordinary narrow font K5LA horn like other Surfliner cab cars. Around the time this video was filmed, the #4A bell on cab car 6953's K5LA horn was dead, making the horn sound bad. Later in that same year, Amtrak decided to replace the dead #4A bell with a #4 bell instead, giving the cab car its unique hybrid K5LA horn sound.

Beautiful OLS wrap on 455, kinda looks like a Southern Pacific paint school in my opinion. And what a amazing Narrow Font K5LA on 455 imo.
