Families are interesting. We had 6 children. When we had no car my husband took the kids on his bike. No big holidays ever..I loved my trip to Israel for my 50th birthday. Do you do and crafts eg knitting, puzzling. We have rent for 24 years. no mortgage, no big bills. See you soon too.

I understand that Israel does not learn the full history of its war with Iran, and likewise Iran does not either. But I think you have a wrong picture of Iran. Iran is not antisemitic. It has the biggest minority of Jews in the middle east, has them in the parlament, gives them religious right (even to not take religion classes in school and perform their holidays with state support) and Iran are one of the lesser places where synagogues are fully undefended as there are no need to defend them. If you want to know in what extent this applies, Israel payed 2,500 pounds for every Iranian jew to leave, after nobody left they doubles it and still nobody left. And this was in a time when it was much easier to go from Iran to Israel. About the conflict with Israel, Iran has proposed for peace with Israel and the west in the early 2000s and in early 2010s. Every moderate and progressive president elected in Iran has proposed some deal, including in some ways the one elected this year. If Israel is peaceful, why did they never even consider this idea? Iran has tried to do peace with the west in the Iran deal and it was Israel who pushed for the US to break it, why did a peaceful nation do that? Before the 2000s Iran did not even see Israel as a major enemies and secretly trades with them, why did Israel stop? And Israel have themselves committed or supported ter****st against Iran, so why can Israel not accept peace with Iran or atleast a truce. Israel also has illegal settlement in in Palestine, are these not breaking more laws than Iran ever have done? About Purim, I have never understood why Jews celebrate it. The Jews went and harmed Iranian civilans even without any evidence that they would harm them. I thought when I was younger that it was only the soldiers that tried to harm the jews, but supposedly even civilians who were not.

This is so cute!!!! Men are the same everywhere- “I’ll pass on any possible incriminating question”😂😂😂😂😂 When did his family or he move to Israel? Was he a child, teen, adult when he came to Israel? Does his family or extended family still live in Sweden? Have y’all gone there to visit and see where he grew up? I like how he said he’s a single father to the older kids and you’re a single mother to the baby! That was cute! I understand the transition part of having a new baby. It is a lot to juggle and takes some getting used to. Do they offer paternity leave in Israel? If so, did he take any? I’m so glad you are getting housekeeping help! Nothing wrong with that! I tried it for a while but I was always cleaning up before the maids got here because I was embarrassed of the mess! 😂😂 I like how you said we clean or “we don’t”. Oh my goodness that is me! Having a large family in a small living space is hard to keep clean! For me it has been like shoveling snow in a snow storm! You make some headway but they tear up something in another location 😂😂😂 Did he have to serve in the Israeli army? Did he go to college? What is his line of work? He would have a fit knowing the way I grew up! My mom was pretty lax about what we ate. My brother and I will eat something sweet or some kind of junk food before we eat our meal, and we will say “appetizer”!! 😂😂😂 Not all the time but for example, if I saw a little donut 🍩 while I was cooking- yeah, I’d eat it. I wouldn’t wait until after supper. How in the world we have stayed skinny is beyond me! But I thank G-d!! I guess our saving grace is that we just aren’t big eaters! I’m pretty easy going with my kids too. I’ve never wanted food to be a battle. Or making them finish their plates. I tell them to stop when they feel full, we can save the food for later. There are times I wish we could rent. Homeownership is a lot of work, money, and responsibilities. And I feel stuck and tied down. Is rent about the same as a mortgage payment in Israel? Rent in America in my area is really high! More than a mortgage payment. Have a great week!! So glad you have a little longer on maternity leave!! I know you are cherishing these moments!! Love❤ You’re friend Karen 🇺🇸 ❤ 🇮🇱 💪

Hehe! Great to hear from you Karen! Good questions I hope I can do another Q and A with him but for now ill answer some myself😂❤ His family moved to Israel when he was a child, he still had and has family there- aunt and uncle etc but not that much. They dont really offer paternity leave in israel, the husband can take some from his wifes maternity leave 😏 I was super lucky my husband got a few paid paternity weeks from his company! That is AMAZING! Hehe ya I hear ya about the cleaning! 😊😊❤ He's a programmer, went to college and army.. maybe ill add more details in some future Q and A ❤ ❤ That is so cool the rent is more than mortgage!! In israel it is very much the opposite! That's why easier to be renter in that aspect as well... Great hearing from you darling! Wishing you and your loved one a Shana Tova U'metuka full of nachas and everything you wish for! Your friend from Israel, Tamar

Thanks for answering!! I love that “side eye” emoji about a husband taking some of his wife’s maternity leave. That look says it all- NO WAY are you taking MY time away from the baby!! 😂😂😂 Glad he got some paid time off! I don’t blame you for renting then- if it’s cheaper!!! Use that money for something else! 😊 Looking forward to another Q & A in the future! Thank you for the blessings! ❤❤❤ you are so dear to me! ❤❤❤ will be praying for you to have a wonderful Rosh Hashanah! 😊❤
