One bike? I would most likely get a bike with the cc between 500 and 900. The reason for those limitations is the weight of the bike is not going to be easier to pick up as I age. A much larger bike is going to cause issues later on. I do not want to be that old man with a bike that I can not pick up if I am alone. I may get a bike that is smaller, but who knows, my Honda Shadow Aero is a decent size, and it may be my last bike... You never know.

@@2wheeledwillie395 - massive torque - very smooth - does everything absolutely effortlessly and the fairing is great at keeping you sheltered from wind and rain. Shaft drive means no chain maintenance. A Z900RS would be on my list of other bikes to own as well as a Triumph T100/120/Speed Twin, a Guzzi V7, a Kawasaki Vulcan Voyager (which is a like a Harley-Davidson bagger but way better value for money). I also like the Suzuki SV650. At this stage in life no interest at all for a 200 HP sports bike. I grew up in the UK but have lived in Canada for the last 34 years so something comfortable for long distances is important to me.

Somebody's tickling Ainsworth , so he can't say nowt .😅 TMF speaks too fast in a funny accent .😮 I'd ask Forgotten Motorcycles but he has a short attention span .😢 Darcy might have an answer but he's busy practising his David Attenborough loud whisper impersonations . Well there's nothing else for it ; I and I really mean it , no honestly I do , in fact I'm serious , let there be no doubt ,and without any misconception . I will have to ask the oracle , the font of all motorcycle knowledge ,the one and only ( lucky for us ) . Freddie Dobbs . 😢 PS . In view of the above , I will keep my 1974 Guzzi Eldorado . PPS .
